[ is helping with this & that, exchanging a few words with some people, sitting down for a few minutes with others if they were insistent -- but he's mostly on his feet or by the door, greeting & serving.

this used to be his life. he doesn't really miss it (right now, he was only here for anna; wouldn't be here otherwise). eyes go up to the clock for the umpteenth time, sighing inwardly. too much time left. too much. ]

Hey. [ presses a hand against the wall, leaning slightly, his other hand on his own hip. ] Is this the part where I insist you host me and then you offer me a refreshment or something to eat?

[ carrying himself lightly, trying not to seem too put-off-ish.

leading them around the crowd instead of through it, thus avoiding stares & bumps along the way. when by the target couch, takes a step to the side & motions riku to sit. ]

[ since nobody is looking, he takes the hand rob motions with into one of his own, pulling him along to sit while he does. lets go after that, just in case. ]

& sits there, feeling both awkward & comfortable at the same time. decision time. ]

[ reaches sideways a little to put the tray on the table near the couch & then looks at riku, not really moving. a little tense, though. ]
