though the next moment he's scooting away as far as he can from simon, backed up against the headboard like a scared animal would. ]

[ slowly gets on his knees, though only shifts slightly to face simon's back. rests back on his heels, opens his mouth, then closes it again. ]

[ lies still, still sulking, but slowly angles his head so that he could look at oliver via corner of his eye. ]

[ yet again he's surprised, though there's a hint of red in his cheeks as he looks down. ]
