[ zooming across the hallways and poking his head inside almost every classroom's door, tony adamantly searches for a certain fair-haired boy. nobody around him questions this quest, already knowing that said person he's looking for could only be one out of three: anthony, an unfortunate victim due to (half-)sharing the same name as tony, alyssa, a girl who everyone and their mom seemed to like (specifically all the boys who persistently tried to get her to date them), and riku, the unlucky son of a bitch who seemed to have the worst luck in the world, but was still the hottest teacher in the entire school.

who would it be this time?

it's not until he turns a corner into the sophomore hallway that he spots his target finally. stopping in the middle of the hallway while throwing his hands up in the air, he shouts: ]

CHOCOBOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!

But I don't know our stop! Did we miss it?

[ just nudges at her cheek with his head gently. ]

We didn't.

[ holds onto his hand a bit tighter, giving a tiny pout. ]

Okay...

[ doesn't seem to mind, simply giving her a look that only she could read as amused. ]

I can be trustworthy in dire situations.

I know. [ reaches over with her free hand to stroke at his hair a little fondly. ] I'd trust you with my life.

[ remains quiet, feeling a little awkward & unwilling to be sarcastic in the face of her honesty. merely gives her a light nudge in his form of acknowledgment & agreement. ]

[ smiles warmly at that before taking a look out the window, wondering if her parents had ever taken a bus before either. idly rubs a thumb across the top of tony's hand in the meantime. ]

[ gives her another nudge when the voice announces the next stop -- their stop -- getting up first to pull at her gently by their connected hands. ]

Our stop.

[ blinks in surprise for a second, jumping up happily with an excited look on her face. ]

Our stop! [ turns to the people she was talking to earlier. ] It's our stop, guys! Goodbye~ It was nice talking to you!

[ pays no heed to the other passengers as he tugs her along off the bus, shouldering his bag when they hit fresh air. ]

Which store, first?

Hmmm~ [ looks up at the sky and thinks, still looking excited. ] Somewhere with lots of dresses!

You want another one?

I have to have a new one for the dance, silly!

Not pink.

Baby pink, I'm thinking.

No, neon pink is totally the way to go.

[ gasps. shock. stare. ]

Please don't tell me that you want that!

I left my common sense in my other jacket.

[ whaps him with a hand on his head. ]

Oh, you-! You must be serious in these matters. Dances are very important!

[ rubs at his head with a light wince & decides to voice his single opinion this matter: ]

But... I wanted us to match...

I can do green. Blue. Red.

It won't be the same.

[ looks up at him, like she's expecting him to give in anyway. ]
