[ tucked against the corner of the couch, head lolling a bit as he dazes, an arm loosely wrapped around nathan's waist. the touch is as unintrusive as it gets -- relaxed and open so that nathan can get away anytime he wishes. twitches once in a while in his daze, however, still relatively aware as people appears & disappears in the map in his head. ]

< Um. . . they usually only have water with their food. Nathan likes pizza with cheese and tomatoes, Mister Aaron eats anything Miss Hana makes. . . >

< I'm sure they'll like anything Hilda makes! >

[ nods a few times, waiting patiently. takes a long drink of her beer and then sits upright. ]

< That settles it, then! We should go prepare at once! >

[ digs into her bag, shuffling around a bunch of stuff crammed in there. lets out a "ah-hah!" when she finds her wallet, pulling it out for him to see. ]

< Supplies are needed! Is there a grocery store nearby? >

[ jumps to his feet as well, though he keeps his strawberry milk with him. ]

< I'll go with you! There's a really big one fifteen minutes away. >

[ tucks her wallet in her back pocket, reaching over to take his hand. ]

< How convenient! You chose a very good place to move into! >

[ reaches over to grab onto her hand, twining their fingers automatically. ]

< Nathan chose it for me. It's really quiet here too. >

[ starts moving towards the door, looking pleasantly surprised once more. ]

< Oh! He is quite smart, then! >

< And he's always right. He said so! >

[ wants to laugh, but holds it back well enough. ]

< How old is Nathan, anyway? >

[ peers at her curiously, but answers dutifully. ]

[ thinks about it, eyes lifting skyward... then nods to herself. ]

[ finally turns her attention back to him, swinging their connected hands to and fro as they go along. ]

< So! What do you guys do when you're together? >

[ starts yammering on cue: ]

< If he has homework, I try to help him with it. I'm not very good, but I'm trying! We sit on the couch, and sometimes he lets us hug, and we sometimes watch movies. Even if it makes me dizzy a lot, it's fun! >

[ laughs and scoots a bit closer, head tilting to put it on top of caleb's. ]

< It sounds like you guys have a lot of fun together! I am very glad. >

[ is stationary for a bit before he turns his head a little so that he can give her a quick kiss to the cheek. ]

< I'm trying really hard to be happy here. He helps a lot. >

[ blinks in surprise, then slowly smiles down at him fondly. ]

< Have you told him this? >

[ pauses to think a little & then nods slowly. ]

< I told him that I like him, and that he's really nice. >
