[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

[ squirms a bit, feeling both ticklish & shy at the affections. clears his throat. ]

. . . Ready?

[ puts on the helmet and nods, wrapping her arms around him once more. presses her cheek against his back and snuggles lightly. ]

[ when he feels her secure against his back, starts up the scooter for real to guide them out of the parking lot. ]

Is our ice cream place still open?

[ looks skyward as they go along, thinking. ]

[ looks side to side when they're at the exit of the parking lot to join the main roads. ]

Guess there's always Option B if it's closed.

[ busily battling the traffic. or the lack of. ]

Ninja maid.

[ blinks once. twice. once more before asking: ]

[ looks back at her when they are caught at a traffic light briefly. ]

Your maid. Ninja maid.

[ thinks briefly about correcting him, deciding against it at the last minute. ]

Then we will leave it up to her if the time should come.

. . . Tinkerbell is asking for food too.

[ blinks downward. removes a hand from anthony's waist to pat at the scooter. ]

[ when they approach a desolate area on the road she repositions her head on anthony's back, looking downward in thought. her words hold an undertone of something between sadness and appreciation when she speaks: ]

[ decidedly puts the rest of his words on hold until he is able to park & get tinkerbell to quiet down. after a moment's hesitation, he decides not to turn around, allowing her some privacy to make any expression that she so chooses. ]

Lyssa. [ short pause. ] What's wrong?

[ stays silent and does not move, simply slumping up against him in deep thought. when she recovers she puts her hands on his shoulders, peering around and at anthony with an encouraging look on her face. ]

It's just a new experience, that's all. I'm not used to it just yet. Hopefully I will be after I move into the dorms! You'll help me, won't you~?

Yeah. [ finally turns a little to glance back. ] You decided to try the dorms?

[ nods happily. ]

Yeah! I've never really been away from my family, so I think it'll be a good experience.

[ is silent for a long moment, thinking. ]

... he told me to go talk to uncle Damon.

Well, he seemed fine with it! A little sad, but I'll visit home as much as possible.
