[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ jerks that hand away quickly, mouth opening to stutter something out when tony's expression stops him. glances down. ]

. . . Yeah. I'll-- cook. Something. Everything?

[ tilts his head a bit at anthony's attitude, briefly confused. dismisses it to instead reply. ]

[ rolls his eyes skyward, giving a small hum. a grin spreads across his face as he meets anthony's eyes again and says, as lowly as possible: ]

[ jabs him in the forehead. ]

Anthony is not part of a balanced breakfast, lunch or dinner.

[ tilts his head to chomp down lightly on anthony's ear. ]

[ nearly jumps right out of tony's hold while a hand snakes up in between tony's face & his ear. gapes up at him, mouth hanging open. ]

--?!?! W-Wh--?!

[ doesn't even look like he's going to move anytime soon, just tugging at his earlobe once. murmurs around it, though it's a little muffled. ]

Mmmm yummy.

[ chokes a little. presses a palm against tony's forehead, shoving at him as best as he currently can. ]

No, not yummy. Ears are not for sale. They're mine, not yours, and yours are more than-- just fine-- I need them!

[ finally lets go to instead look into anthony's eyes sadly. ]

Really? Aw, I'm disappointed...

[ slips his hands over tony's eyes, breathing a little erratically from the leftover shock. ]

. . . Demands. Too much. Cheating.

[ lets anthony do what he pleases, a small smile still intact as he simply listens. after a moment he nudges between those hands to look down at him, eyes going soft. ]

I'm sorry. Is it that bad?

[ breath hitches again, but for a different reason, as he manages to meet tony's gaze for only a second. leans against him again, pressing his face into the chest to murmur quietly. ]

No. Not really. Not for you.

[ doesn't speak for a while, allowing the words to comfortably settle between them. slowly releases one of his hand to pick up the crow plush, wiggling it a bit to get anthony's attention so that he could press its beak to the boy's lips once. ]

Caw.

[ blinks, staring at the crow plush for a moment. then seems to gather enough courage to curl both hands around the toy to pry it from tony's grip. turns it around to touch the beak against the corner of tony's mouth. ]

[ grins and gives it a quick kiss back, using his now-free hand to ruffle anthony's hair gently. ]

There. All better.

[ tucks it back against him along with the other plushies, making a soft noise of amusement. ]

[ wraps that arm around anthony again, rubbing his nose into his hair while pulling him into a hug. ]

I'll give you lots of cuddles tonight to make up for it. Promise!

[ grunts at the sudden movement, but wraps an arm around tony in response in a half-hug back. smiles into his chest. ]
