[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ presses his forehead against anthony's in reply to the nudge, keeping that smile on his face. makes sure to murmur his next words, so that alyssa can't hear: ]

But you're the one who made us play rock-paper-scissors to see who had to sleep next to her. You made such a big fuss out of it and all. It should only be fair that I do it.

[ scrunches his nose & leans away. ]

Lyssa should pick.

[ blinks at him a few times. wordlessly turns back to alyssa. ]

What do you think, cutie? Me? Him?

[ looks between them, then down at her lap in thought. ]

Um...

[ lifts her head again, beaming. ]

Both!

[ blinks as well. then shrugs. ]

Works for me.

[ lets go of anthony's hand finally, raising a fist in the air. ]

Then I guess it's all decided!

Yay~!

[ & then she crams more spaghetti in her mouth. ]

[ twists some more noodles onto his fork, a little distracted as he watches her eat. ]

. . . Save room for dessert?

[ gasps. stops eating to lean forward, not bothering to wipe her mouth as the word "dessert" distracts her. ]

What kind?

[ leans away to grab at a napkin, quickly wiping off the worst of the damage. ]

Sundae or fruit salad?

[ hums in thought. ]

Probably fruit salad... I already had ice cream today.

Huh? Fruit salad isn't a dessert...

I can make both.

[ as if on cue both he and alyssa raise both of their hands in the air. ]

Both, both!

. . . [ turns his face away with a soft snort, amused by their antics. clears his throat before turning back to them, but the smile remains in place. gets to his feet. ]

I'll get started, then.

[ both of them salute him at the same time. ]

We put our trust in you!

In you!

[ shakes his head & goes back to the kitchen. takes a while, mostly due to getting the fruit salad together & ready. tugs out a new tub of sundae when he's finished. grabs three small bowls & spoons before bringing that & the ice cream out to the table first. sets that down, then goes back to bring the larger bowl with the fruit salad in it.

finally settles back down into his seat & pushes his spaghetti away in favour of grabbing a small bowl for himself. gives both of them a look. ]

Pick your vice.

[ peeks over the selection, taking the bowl and spoon that tony hands to her. first digs out a small scoop of ice cream, plops it into her bowl, then takes a handful of fruit salad before dumping it on top of the ice cream. holds it up, as if it should be glowing. ]

[ takes some of the sundae, stopping to blink when he sees her. noms down a bite of the ice cream before slowly holding his own bowl up as well. ]

. . . ?

[ knocks anthony on the head lightly with a fist. ]

I think you're doing it wrong.

[ winces & puts his bowl down, rubbing at his head uncertainly. ]

It wasn't a toast?

If you don't get it then I ain't gonna explain it to you.
