[ pats her stomach with a hand. ]

I can take it!

[ tilts a bit, then nods in grudging acknowledgment. ]

Family with stomachs of steel. Minus one smelly.

[ scrunches her nose. ]

Less smelly, more bath times.

[ blinks down at her. ]

Do you need a towel?

[ nods and removes herself, bending at the knees to rummage through her bag. ]

Two, if you don't mind.

[ goes to do his own share of rummaging through his dresser, pulling out one big towel & another smaller one. hands them over. ]

Want anything for appetizer?

[ takes them, shaking her head. ]

No thank you. [ puts her p.e. clothes on top of the towels, taking a few steps away towards the bathroom. ] You just sit tight. Don't peek, okay?

[ settles down on the bed cross-legged. straightens his back & salutes. ]

Yes ma'am.

[ gives one last smile before she shuts the door behind herself and begins to get to work.

when she gets her clothes off and has them set to the side, however, she takes a long, thoughtful look at her bra. slowly grins and wraps a towel around her body, careful to not let herself be seen as she sneaks out and takes a quick peek into anthony's room. counts underneath her breath--one... two... three!--before she tosses the bra in the direction of his face, giggling and running back into the bathroom to finally take her shower. ]

[ topples off the bed as soon as he's hit in the face, yelping loudly. ]

E-ENEMY INTRUDER--!

[ scrambles away from the piece of clothing as soon as he's regained motor control, scooting back & away until he's settled against an edge of the doorway. face heats up when he properly sees the piece of clothing, knowing that he should put it... somewhere safe... but unwilling to get up & actually touch it. which is why he's still sitting there dumbly, barely recognizing that the front door has opened & closed, his name being called out in a typical, soft fashion that only suited his dad. or realizing that he should cover up the bra with something like right now --

-- only it's too late by the time that thought hits him, as when he cranes his head upward, there is ralph. who's growing steadily redder with every passing moment. upon seeing that (yet unspoken) word forming at his dad's lips, he hisses some nonsense & buries his face into the crook of one elbow while waving his dad off. ]

Please don't. Not what it looks like. Go away. Cook. Don't think about it.

[ thankfully she's blissfully unaware of the doom that happened upon anthony (& his dad, considering), humming and singing a little happily in the shower while scrubbing away. unfortunately it takes her a while (that clay actually settled into her hair nicely, making her whine and paw at it for a good five or ten minutes) but soon enough she's out and wrapping a towel around her body, the smaller one pressed between her hands to start drying her hair.

blinks when she hears some noise in the living room/kitchen area, making her open the door to the bathroom and peek out. steps lightly towards anthony's room, having completely forgotten about her 'great flying bra' act in favor of her curiosity taking over instead. just pokes her head in to check, feeling relieved upon seeing her darling there, but nonetheless she can't help but ask: ]

Is that your dad in there?

[ had drawn his legs up towards his chest with both hands covering his face. jumps a little when he hears alyssa's voice, peeking up once, then back to his position. ]

Yeah. Cooking. And monologuing.

[ blinks and squats down in front of him, trying to peek at his face. ]

Monologuing?

[ remains stubbornly in place. ]

Don't ever do it, honey.

[ releases the towel that she was previously using to dry her hair, placing it over anthony's head instead. speaks to him a little sympathetically: ]

Did he see it?

[ tugs on the towel to wrap nearly his entire head, only his eyes peeking out. ]

. . . It's okay.

[ lifts her hand to pat his head, trying to cheer him up with the gesture. ]

Yes, I'm sure he knows that he won't be a grandpa for a very, very long time.

[ curls even tighter into himself. ]

None of the above. There is no right answer.

[ giggles and pats him again before she stands. contemplates dropping her second towel on him, only stopping since ralph is around. just wanders off without another word to the bathroom, shutting the door behind herself to begin dressing into her p.e. clothes.

comes back out a few minutes later, using the towel in her arms to pat down her hair some more. peeks down at anthony when she realizes that he's still there. ]

I'm not naked, darling. I promise~!

[ his moment of mortification finished, peeks through the towel up at alyssa cautiously. begins to uncurl when he realizes that the coast his clear, wincing when his legs cramps a little. shakes them out a bit. ]

The world was ending, honey.

[ places her dirty clothes next to her bag, taking a seat in front of anthony. ]

Was it?

[ shuffles forward toward her a bit with a nod. ]

It was shaped like my dad.

[ gasps. ]

Did he get mad?

He went neon.

Neon?
