[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

[ files out the chatter from the living room as just another nathan & aaron interaction, coming back with several presents in hand. drops down in his spot again, wiggles around a bit, then arranges the presents neatly next to him. ]

[ stares down at his gift, then tugs out the squirrel plush to hug it & plop it onto one of his knees. rubs at the plush's head for a bit, looking stupidly happy. beams. ]

[ opens his own gift, blinking down at it in surprise. flushes a little at the dog plush, making sure that he doesn't make a face at the squirrel cup (even that was a little cute, he guesses). shifts a little uncomfortably but manages to mumble something: ]

[ stares at the bag. stares at it some more. looks back up at aaron. cautiously begins to open it, first pulling out a book (http://i53.tinypic.com/eq82tt.jpg) (pointedly FROWNING AT IT) and then a bundle wrapped in tissue paper. rips it open, face contorting into something rather unpleasant after he lifts it up to take a good look at the gift (http://i53.tinypic.com/vfdo3c.jpg). ]

[ when he notices nathan simply sitting there vibrating a little he relaxes in his seat further, content with the reaction, even if his face doesn't show it. ]

I was going to get you something in pink, but then I thought: "Aaron. Really. He may be a wife, but he won't look good in pink. You should find something different." Then I did, and all was right with the wo--

[ stops when the apron gets chucked in his face, letting out a small grunt. ]

[ sets the apron down beside him when he hears caleb's voice. glances at hana before they begin to open the gifts, tilting his head a little at the second one but automatically putting on the first. lifts his arm to show it off before reaching out with a fist, requesting that caleb bump it with his own. ]

[ stares at the fist, puzzled for a moment, before he remembers what he has to do. bumps his fist against aaron's obediently with a broad grin. that done, he shifts to aim the expression at hana. seems to vibrate a little, entirely pleased with himself. ]

[ briefly glances over at nathan inspecting the camera in silence. just gives a small nod to caleb, trying to sound nonchalant about it despite the hidden meanings. ]
