[ double-checks that everything in the house is straightened and in its proper place, despite having cleaned everything earlier that morning. a few peeks up the stairs towards her brother's room is the only other movement she makes besides nudging things here and there, taking a seat on the edge of a chair when she realizes that it probably won't be very long now. is quite aware (was made aware) that her brother had tricked anthony into thinking they were going to meet at twelve instead of twelve-thirty, but still can't help but glance outside the front window every few minutes to make sure that she would be there when he arrived. ]

[ sighs, placing his juice down as he stands. ]

[ nods in reply, turning to follow rachel after saying: ]

[ returns the nod. glances at jeremy, slightly tense, but relaxes when the other boy merely gives him a shake of the head & a smile. once jeremy turns away to latch onto a conversation with some other people, he takes the moment to sag back into his seat. rubs at an eye, watching different groups of people without any real interest. considers texting alyssa briefly, going as far as to take out his phone before deciding against it.

pocketing the phone, he gives jeremy another glance (making sure the boy stays right there, at that distance) until he feels secure enough to close his eyes as he waits for michael & rachel's return. ]

[ after five or ten minutes they return, two drinks in each hand. while michael gives anthony his and takes a seat she grins broadly at jeremy, handing him his drink. ]

[ jokingly flips her hair a little bit, deciding to flop down on one of the other chairs this time. ]

[ takes a sip of his sprite. stares down at him with a slightly confused expression. checks the can design just in case. looks up at michael. ]

Did you get me an expired sprite?

[ blinks, reaching over to take the can and observe it. finding the expiration date he shakes his head, handing it back over. ]

It seems as if it is perfectly fine.
