[ her daily routine started off as it usually did: crawling out of bed and plopping on the floor, letting out a little oof! at the impact. picking herself up, she makes her way to her bathroom in a hurry to do her business, throwing her hands up in the air when she scurries out into her room in a victory! fashion. after that she throws open her closet and drawers, rummaging around to pick out an outfit for the day.

pulls her shirt over her head, snaps her jumper on, then picks up her pajamas to set them on her bed neatly; her personal (ninja) maid would surely put it into the wash for her. fistpumps once, quickly crawling onto her bed to pet ~~her fat kitty~~ catbert, telling him to be good while she goes to find daddy before zipping out of the room at top-speed.

says a quick HI, BYE! to one of the maids along the way, zooming and rolling around to peer into every corner to find albert. stands up from peeking underneath a bed to tap her chin, going AH-HAH! when a thought strikes her; the study was her final destination. and when she gets there and sees her daddy she snickers, quietly crawling on the ground slowly so that he wouldn't notice her right away. peeks up over the table, beaming when she sees a plate of cheese there. shifty-eyes to albert, reaching a hand out to nab a few pieces and plop onto the ground.

& that's the pattern she'll have for a while, continuing on ~~stealing~~ nomming down the cheese as quietly as possible, her previous mission long forgotten in the face of a cheesy-delicious breakfast. ]

[ he doesn't notice immediately. too wrapped up in his book to really pay attention until his hand hits the bottom of the bowl. with his cheese. or, well, without his cheese now. putting his book down onto his lap, he tilts a little to the side to peer over the table & toward the floor. ]

It seems we have a thief in our midst.

[ slowly tilts her head back when she hears his voice, an innocent look on her face. ]

I don't see a cheese thief anywhere.

[ ... or so she says, clearly having crumbs littering her clothes. ]

[ raises a brow. ]

Ah? So if I sniffed your breath, you would be cheese-free?

[ looks down at the last cheese in her hand. puts it behind her back before looking up again. ]

Daddy you're so silly, why would you wanna sniff my breath?

Cheese tends to leave a very distinct smell in one's mouth.

[ wiggles onto her knees, peeking over his desk a la icon. ]

Really?

Would I lie to you, little princess?

[ shakes her head. ]

No. Daddy never lies to me.

And does little princess ever lie to daddy?

...

[ quietly hands over the last cheese instead of answering, her reply clear enough by that alone. ]

[ takes the cheese & raises a hand to pat alyssa on the head. ]

Good.

[ brightens considerably at that, standing to bounce on her heels a little. ]

It was good cheese! I'll get daddy more if you want it!

No, I've had enough. What of your breakfast?

I had cheese.

You don't wish for anything else?

[ throws hands up into the air. ]

Pancakes!

Any particular kind?

Blueberry and chocolate chip.

Ah? Put together? The combination might be quite disastrous.

It's okay! [ thumps a fist to her chest. ] I can help!

I was speaking more along the lines of its taste, little princess.

Why?

[ shakes his head. ]

One or the other for now. You may have the other at a later time.

[ puffs out her cheeks, looking as if she's in deep thought... then raises a fist, trying to sound and look determined. ]

I suppose chocolate chip with suffice!

[ shakes his head in fond amusement before rising to his feet. ]
