[ a lazy summer afternoon seemed like the perfect opportunity for alyssa to drag her best friend to the tv room in the mansion; it seemed like an even better idea to play new moon as their movie of choice, having missed the chance to see it in theaters because of final exams and graduation.

she keeps quiet, too enthralled in the thought that tony had actually agreed to sit down and watch it with her... up until they get fifteen minutes into the movie, that is. shifts slightly in her position against tony, a disgruntled look appearing on her face. ]

This movie is nothing like the book!

[ catches that split second of disappointment, however, making his automatic shake of the head turn to a reluctant nod & a defeated droop of shoulders. he shuffles on over to his small pile of luggage in the corner to rummage around for his neon swim trunks, holding them up for a while to give it a look of straight-faced mortification before straightening again. ]

Give me two seconds. [ & into the bathroom he goes, closing the door behind him quickly to discourage the idea of getting extra company. ]

[ smiles widely at his back, turning to go peer out the window of their hotel room while she waits. looks down at herself when she realizes that she has too much clothing on, deciding to plop down on the bed to start taking off her clothing and stripping down to her bathing suit once more. ]

[ comes out after the few seconds that he asked for, trying very hard not to notice the brightness that are his swim trunks. opens his mouth to announce that he's ready when he vaguely realizes what she's doing. ]

[ doesn't bother checking if there is a purpose to the stripping, simply turning back to go straight into the bathroom once more. ]

[ glances up a moment too late, only catching sight of his back when he turns to go back into the bathroom. jumps up and catches his arm, tugging at him. ]

Where are you going, silly? You already have your swim trunks on!

[ not looking at her, but is flushed to the tips of his ears. ]

You still need a minute!

[ keeps herself attached to him, giving another tug. ]

I do not! I have my bathing suit underneath my clothes, dummy!

[ stops. looks down to quickly evaluate the level of truthfulness in her tone. then slowly starts turning around, peeking at her from the corner his eye. ]

[ removes herself and steps back a bit, hands on her hips. might only have the top part of her costume removed, but lo and behold, she's telling the truth. ]

[ completely relaxes. ]

Oh. [ gives her shoulder a light pat before he waddles back on over to his luggage to set his pants back with everything else. ]

[ looks over her shoulder at him, turning towards him fully when something hits her. ]

[ blinks down at his hand, taking the mentioned item curiously in silence. ]

[ pauses for effect before lifting her hand to pet at his hair. ]

[ tilts his head down a little to make the motion easier. ]

[ uses both of her hands to ruffle his hair, nuzzling her nose against his. ]

Aw, yes, you're so good!
