[ stares at him for a moment, wondering if she should elaborate. decides against it at the last minute, just shaking her head. ]

[ one last glance & then turns his entire attention on her, smiling a bit. ]

[ shifts out of their previous position, instead reaching to take his hand. ]

[ takes her hand back while puffing up a bit in pride. ]

I got paid today. Would you like a strawberry sundae?

[ might be bouncing on her heels a little bit in excitement. ]

[ nods, his voice still holding a residue of pride despite glancing back at tony, though for a different reason this time around. ]

Think he has time for a good-bye?

[ sticks her nose up slightly in the air. ]

[ leads them forward, speaking matter-of-factly. ]

If he doesn't, I'll punch him.

[ laughs at that, not feeling like there's a need to respond with anything more as they go forth towards their destination. ]

[ when they approach he pulls his eyes away from the girl in front of him, lifting a hand. ]

Yo! Took you guys long enough.

[ his free hand twitches with a firmly repressed punch as he looks between the giggling girl, tony & the spot behind tony's head while adopting a thicker accent than necessary. ]

[ looks down at them both, sulking a bit. ]

[ beams at that, reaching over to ruffle his hair. ]

[ blinks down at her, then anthony. looks kind of confused, scratching his head. ]

That won't be necessary. [ tightens her grip on anthony, leaning on him to make her point. ] It's a date. You don't bring along other people on dates!

[ looks back and forth between them again, eyes rolling up to the ceiling for a brief moment. gaze goes back down at them again, expression changing. ]

Well, at least you got the basics down. [ lifts a hand again. ] Have fun on your date, kids. Don't forget the goodnight kiss, chocobo.

[ makes an noncommittal sound, watching the exchange with an interest he does not bother to conceal. ]

[ can't help but laugh at that, once again giving anthony's hair a ruffle before removing the hand altogether. ]

[ puffs up a little bit at his words, tugging on anthony's hand to lead them away from tony and towards the exit in silence. ]

[ works out a last 'goodbye' before he is pried away, giving her concerned glances once in a while during their trek out. ]
