[ is silent for a moment, simply gazing at nathan for a moment. then places a gentle hand on a shoulder. leans his head in close to press his lips against the bridge of nathan's nose fondly. the motion seems less smooth than the others, as if he's reciting something from memory. ]

Is good. Learn more, know more. World is big. Is good to open to new information.

[ opens his mouth before closing it, realizing that he doesn't have a verbal reply to that. shuts his eyes instead, slightly thrown off by an urge that settles somewhat uncomfortably in the pit of his stomach. feels his hands shake a little within the thought, making him reach towards the nearest counter to set the glass of water down. repositions himself but moves his head back and away, just enough to cup his hands over caleb's cheeks.

breath hitches a little but he doesn't think twice in fear of losing his courage; tugs caleb's face down and tips his own forward, connecting their lips in a light but firm kiss. doesn't pull away immediately this time, however, instead holding onto what little bravery he has left in favor of allowing himself to get lost in the moment. ]

[ doesn't immediately respond, caught off guard at first. then he eases into the kiss, applying some pressure from his end as well as he brings up his hands to awkwardly cup at nathan's face to deepen their connection. hold their position there for a little while longer, sharing breathing space while he listens to the heavy sound of a familiar heartbeat ringing in his ears. only pulls back when he needs the air. still does not speak, just smiles, moving a thumb gently under nathan's eye. ]

[ has his eyes closed even as they part, as if he's still lost in the fuzzy haze he feels every time there is a physical connection. slowly meets his gaze, face reddening even further. can't look at caleb for too long as he averts his eyes to the side awkwardly, though stubbornly stays in place regardless. ]

[ wanders back downstairs when she thinks she's given them enough time, completely driven by her sudden need for food. struts right into the kitchen... then stops. slaps her hands over her eyes again. ]

Oh, ups! Entschuldigung! My bad! I did it again, haha!

[ thankfully when the sound of her voice hits his ears this time he doesn't scream nor do his usual babbling. instead he sort of just tries to become one with the counter behind him, going completely limp in hopes that he can instantly disappear into it somehow. ]

[ is entirely not bothered by her sudden appearance, his attention drawn away from the moment toward the newcomer. releases nathan carefully to turn toward her, hiding the boy behind him with the majority of his own body as he bounds forward, arms open. ]

Hilda!

Caleb!

[ takes only a few small steps forward to meet him in the middle, giving him a great big hug. peeks over at nathan once before pulling back, patting caleb's shoulders. ]

Are you helping our guest? Good boy! One golden star!

[ clings on as long as she allows, smile bright on his face at her praise. ]

< I am! Nathan wanted a drink, so I brought him here. Do you have anything he could eat? >

< Of course, of course! What does he like? >

< Erm. . . maybe some Home food? He's never tried any before. >

[ nods a bit, removing herself completely from caleb to go peek into the fridge. ]

< Hmm... does he eat a lot? >

< Not really. Just a little bit would be good, I think. >

[ begins to pull out things, instantly knowing what she's going to make. pauses after she puts it on the counter, looking over at nathan. smiles a bit before her gaze goes to caleb. ]

< How about you two go unpack while I cook? I'll wave you down when it's ready, okay? Oh, and I set your book on the bed, too. >

[ nods at everything obediently before he turns to nathan again, reaching for a hand. ]

Hilda cook! So see room? Is nice!

[ is too busy fidgeting with his glass of water to notice at first, looking up with a jerk when he's addressed. ]

'K-kay...

[ then does an awkward dance of sorts, not knowing where to put the glass of water. ends up just taking it with him while his free hand takes caleb's. ]

[ gives hilda one more fleeting look before he tugs nathan along, leading them upward toward the second floor in search of his old room. ]

Show Nathan room! Old room before new house!

[ goes along with the tug, blinking in a mixture of confusion and curiosity. ]

You used to live here?

Nein, but I see Hilda a lot. Have old room.

[ opens his mouth when a thought strikes him but closes it almost immediately. shakes his head a bit before smiling and settling with: ]

Sounds nice.

[ stops in front of the room right across from the bathroom, opening the door widely to show off the interior as he keeps chattering. is a medium-sized area, the bed tucked against the wall (http://freshome.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/black-kid-room.jpg) with a cozy table set next to it. its book-shelf is stuffed full, the majority of its contents being storybooks & photo albums with three or four sticker-books wedged in between. on the bed are a row of stuffed animals, carefully placed & regularly dusted to keep clean. the rest of the room a little more spacious, only occupied by a pastel-coloured rug & another smaller bookshelf located underneath the window on the wall opposite to the wall against which the bed is placed.

he gazes at the area fondly for a moment before turning his attentions back to nathan. ]

Is very nice, ja?

[ peers around at everything but stays right outside the door, simply taking in what he can from the angle he's at. takes another look around curiously, then nods a bit at caleb when he's had his fill. ]

Suits you, that's for sure.

[ tugs him inside, only releasing nathan's hand to be able to flop onto his old bed with relish. rubs his face into the covers with a pleased smile before he straightens, sitting up to face nathan again. ]

Hilda choose! Hilda give me a lot.

[ rubs his arm a bit awkwardly, deciding to just stand there and look around with only his eyes some more. ]

Well, she does seem to like you a lot. M'not surprised.

[ opens his own arms, scooting a bit closer to the edge of the bed so that he can grasp at nathan's hands again to pull him into a loose hug. ]

I like Hilda too! A lot! And Hilda like Nathan. Is good, because I like Nathan.
