[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ gently takes the crow plush off of anthony's head before shaking her own. ]

No, it's hug time~!

[ closes the distance between them to wrap her arms around him. ]

[ returns the hug with one arm, as the other is holding onto the rest of the plushies. smiles again & presses his nose into her shoulder contently. ]

[ buries her face into him and holds on tightly, though sounds completely content when she speaks softly. ]

I love you.

[ rubs her back in a comforting manner. ]

Love you too.

[ rests there for a while longer, snuggling into him even more. after a minute or two she shifts to peek at him. ]

Did you have fun with Tony?

[ tugs them closer toward the wall, his arm still wrapped around her. ]

Yeah. [ gives her a small nudge. ] What about you?

[ goes along with the motion, resting against him lightly. ]

Oh yes, we had lots of fun! I'm very glad that I took them with me.

But they didn't seem worn out.

Of course not, silly! They have lots and lots of energy.

Too much energy can be bad.

You think so?

We were young once too.

Ah~? We're not young anymore?

The twenties are upon us.

But we're still young!

The teens will never come again.

[ leans in a bit closer to his face, looking excited. ]

That's why we have to make most of the time that's left!

[ draws back a little with a blink. ]

[ lifts a finger to poke his nose. ]

[ goes cross-eyed for a moment. shakes it off. ]

[ wraps her arm around him again, giving a pout. ]

I don't have one...

[ blinks. ]

Sleeping Beauty?

[ shakes her head but looks really enthralled nonetheless. ]

That's mommy's favorite!

Yours too. [ shifts a bit, suddenly looking uncomfortable. ] . . . Right?

[ blinks and tilts her head when she sees that uncomfortable look. ]
