He already knows he's abn-- absolutely fantastic. Yeah.

Hmm... that's true, I suppose...

[ unlocks the door & holds it open for her. ]

I'm a good darling, honey.

[ lifts up to nuzzle noses with him first, patting his cheek. ]

Mmm you are.

[ & then goes right on in. ]

[ seems to puff up a little bit at the praise & attentions, strolling in after her. peels off his shoes & looks around, expression a tad confused. ]

Dad? [ pauses. ] Dad! [ one more pause, then glances at alyssa. ] . . . Doing late grocery shopping.

[ holds onto her own shoes and looks around as anthony calls out for his dad, turning back to him only when he speaks to her. ]

Is he getting us ice cream~?

[ shakes his head, wandering around a little to check the status of the kitchen before he returns to where she's standing. ]

If he remembers. I left him a list this morning.

Really? Oh well~ [ begins her trek inside, heading towards anthony's room. ] Guess I could do without some ice cream for a change.

[ trails after. ]

There's Dora Popsicles left over.

[ flips on the light to his bedroom, setting her bag down neatly to the side. ]

I think I'll wait until after dinner to have one.

I haven't tried this dish, so I can't vouch.

I'll eat it anyway.

[ shakes his head. ]

No pressure.

[ scoots a bit closer, wrapping her arms around one of his. ]

It would be rude not to, darling.

[ bumps his head against hers gently. ]

It'd be ruder of us to send you back with a stomachache.

[ pats her stomach with a hand. ]

I can take it!

[ tilts a bit, then nods in grudging acknowledgment. ]

Family with stomachs of steel. Minus one smelly.

[ scrunches her nose. ]

Less smelly, more bath times.

[ blinks down at her. ]

Do you need a towel?

[ nods and removes herself, bending at the knees to rummage through her bag. ]

Two, if you don't mind.

[ goes to do his own share of rummaging through his dresser, pulling out one big towel & another smaller one. hands them over. ]

Want anything for appetizer?

[ takes them, shaking her head. ]

No thank you. [ puts her p.e. clothes on top of the towels, taking a few steps away towards the bathroom. ] You just sit tight. Don't peek, okay?

[ settles down on the bed cross-legged. straightens his back & salutes. ]

Yes ma'am.

[ gives one last smile before she shuts the door behind herself and begins to get to work.

when she gets her clothes off and has them set to the side, however, she takes a long, thoughtful look at her bra. slowly grins and wraps a towel around her body, careful to not let herself be seen as she sneaks out and takes a quick peek into anthony's room. counts underneath her breath--one... two... three!--before she tosses the bra in the direction of his face, giggling and running back into the bathroom to finally take her shower. ]

[ topples off the bed as soon as he's hit in the face, yelping loudly. ]

E-ENEMY INTRUDER--!

[ scrambles away from the piece of clothing as soon as he's regained motor control, scooting back & away until he's settled against an edge of the doorway. face heats up when he properly sees the piece of clothing, knowing that he should put it... somewhere safe... but unwilling to get up & actually touch it. which is why he's still sitting there dumbly, barely recognizing that the front door has opened & closed, his name being called out in a typical, soft fashion that only suited his dad. or realizing that he should cover up the bra with something like right now --

-- only it's too late by the time that thought hits him, as when he cranes his head upward, there is ralph. who's growing steadily redder with every passing moment. upon seeing that (yet unspoken) word forming at his dad's lips, he hisses some nonsense & buries his face into the crook of one elbow while waving his dad off. ]

Please don't. Not what it looks like. Go away. Cook. Don't think about it.
