[ he's not sure how, but he's absolutely certain that it's one of those mornings where waking up would be a Bad Idea. even when he's only half-awake, he can feel the dull throb in his head, signaling the presence of a progressively worsening migraine. presses a hand to his forehead gingerly as he peeks open one eye. shuts it immediately when the light amplifies the headache even further. somehow manages to roll over onto his side with a soft groan, expression twisting into one of pain as he patterns out his breathing.

several minutes later, reattempts at opening his eyes. is successful this time, leaving him to blink owlishly at the blurry image of the (foreign-but-not) room laid out before him. jerks bodily when he realizes that this is not his room, but tony's. doesn't quite get to the point of throwing himself off the bed, however, hindered quite successfully by the pounding headache. feels slightly better upon realizing that tony's strangely absent, filling him with a sense of hope that he can get away unscathed. as such, he stubbornly pushes down the memories as he wraps his arms around his head, concentrating on breathing & recovering so that he can escape as soon as possible. ]

[ & as if on cue the little bell on the door rings to signal that someone entered the shop, just waddling on in with his typical straight face planted firmly in place. types on his cellphone, holding it up despite neither of them being close enough to read it properly. ]

「 Hi. 」

. . . !!! [ upon seeing hiro at the door, he barely has enough sense to put the watering can down before shuffling on over to him with arms awkwardly outstretched. ]

Pika-- Hiro. . . !

[ doesn't even put away his cellphone, as he's too busy mimicking anthony's motions and latching onto him when they meet in the middle. ]

[ hugs him tightly for a moment, then loosens his grip to stare down at him. ]

Hi. What are you doing here?

[ rubs his face into him one last time before he pulls an arm away. types, then holds his cellphone up for anthony to see: ]

「 A Hurricane called. 」

[ stares, the blush fading away for a moment. ]

. . . About what?

「 World domination. French fries. 」

But world domination is mine.

「 He hasn't seen the light yet. 」

[ holds up a hand to his level, palm up in a way of asking for a high-five. ]

With our powers combined, we will triumph. Maybe.

[ lifts a hand anyway to give him that high-five... then just goes right back to latching onto anthony again. ]

[ wraps his arms around him, keeping to that hug for moments longer. then dislodges again so that he can bend to his level, a smile already at his lips. ]

「 Good. 」 [ types furiously for a moment, then holds it up again, looking rather pleased. ] 「 I got McDonalds today. 」

[ shakes his head a little in reply. ]

[ puffs out his cheeks a bit, but that's about the extent of the displeasure that he shows. ]

I'll cook for dinner, then.

[ suddenly looks excited. ]

「 Fried rice? 」

[ nods. ]

[ nods enthusiastically, tugging on his shirt a little. ]

「 Onii-chan makes the best fried rice. 」

[ goes a little red at the compliment. puts a hand in hiro's hair to give it a gentle ruffle. ]

Okay. I'll make fried rice.

[ & then his attention is pulled away when he notices something (someone) standing in the background. peers around anthony, almost a little cautiously. ]

「 Usagi. 」

[ blinks at the word, looking confused, but finally gets to his feet to step away from standing in-between hiro & oliver. ]

Sorry, boss. This is Hiro, my l-little brother. And uh. . . this is my boss, Hiro.
