[ circles around to face her boys when they get inside of the park, taking out her handy dandy map to look over it. doesn't take too long in deciding what to do first; hands go on her hips, giving them a look as if she's leading an army going to war, though the smile on her face adds something more pleasant onto the double-meaning. ]

So I was thinking that we should split up first and meet up for lunch later. It's pretty crowded today. Going in twos is the best option, since we don't want to lose any short people.

[ cocks his head to the side to look at him, considering his answer. returns his gaze forward again, narrowing his eyes slightly with a small frown. ]

Yeah, but you're all... [ pauses, motioning with a hand in a halfhearted manner. ] genius-y. Or whatever.

[ looks at him from the corner of his eye then back forward. ]

[ steals another long glance after he's through, not speaking for a while. throws his hands behind his own head to cup it, shifting to lightly nudge damon's side. speaks nonchalantly, like he's not trying to be encouraging. ]

Well, whatever, you've got like, what, a million years of school left? So you've got boatloads of time to enjoy it.

[ looks slightly embarrassed but satisfied at the same time, not bothering to say anything more than that for now. ]

[ & slips back into silence after that, but it takes only a few more minutes for them to arrive at their destination.

stops when he sees the line-up, the corner of his eye twitching. ]

[ stares at the line as well, looking self-righteously angry at the sight. ]

[ ponders something briefly. suddenly grabs damon's wrist, pulling him along to another destination. ]

[ response is cut short when he feels the tugging, stumbling the first few steps in surprise. grumbles a bit at the resulting imbalance but recovers it soon enough to go along with it without much protest, curiosity perked. ]

[ finally they approach these boxes that people are sticking their tickets in. goes to an empty one, releasing damon's wrist. puts his own hands on his hips, clearing his throat. gestures to the box. ]

This is where you get something called a Fastpass.

I know what you're wondering: "What in the world is a Fastpass?" Well, a Fastpass... uh. Lets you get into rides faster. Yeah.

Never would've guessed it. I mean, it bein' called a Fastpass an' all.

[ sighs and shakes his head, patting damon's shoulder. ]

[ rolls his eyes yet again. ruffles nathan's hair with more force than usual, messing it up & looks at the time on the pass, pockets it. ]

Awesome! Means you got what we're gonna do for the next hour and a half covered, right?

[ groans at the rair ruffling, not bothering to stop him as he's attempting to get his own pass. when the words pass through damon's lips, however, he sort of pauses. ]

... uh. Well, we could always look at the shops? Heard they had awesome Indiana Jones stuff.

[ shrugs and wanders off to another direction, towards the shops. suddenly stops, however, pointing to an item on one of the food stands. ]

[ rushes on over, picking up the larger-than-life pickle wrapped in a baggie. ]

HOLY CRAP! Damon, look, look! It's HUGE!

[ rushes over to inspect the pickle close up & grins. ]

We're taking two. Can't walk away 'fore trying these monsters.

[ looks really pleased, shoving two of them in the cashier's face. pays for them without second thought, handing one to damon, but not before giving him a look. ]
