[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

[ eyes drop to the floor, looking distinctly sullen. ]

He's different.

[ draws her a little closer but does not refute her claim. gives her slow back rubs & can't help letting his own decline in mood seep through. ]

[ blinks up at him curiously as she rests against him. ]

Not directly. He's gotten used to a different set of rules.

[ thinks about it for a while, nodding in silence when she feels like she understands. ]

But he's Tony. And still our friend.

[ slowly looks up at him again. smiles at his words, a look of appreciation following close behind. ]

[ suddenly lifts a hand to yawn, blinking in surprise. puts on her signature pout as a result. ]

Aw phooey, I think I'm getting a little sleepy.

[ fishes out his scooter keys from his pockets. ]

[ pauses to glance over at tony, who seems to still be talking to someone. ]

[ keeps on looking at tony before directing her eyes elsewhere, conflicted. ]

[ eyes drift back to tony. drifts away once again, instead locking themselves on alyssa. ]

Tinkerbell will wait if you want to stay longer.

[ stares at him for a moment, wondering if she should elaborate. decides against it at the last minute, just shaking her head. ]

No, I think I've had enough partying for tonight!

[ one last glance & then turns his entire attention on her, smiling a bit. ]

[ shifts out of their previous position, instead reaching to take his hand. ]

[ takes her hand back while puffing up a bit in pride. ]

I got paid today. Would you like a strawberry sundae?

[ might be bouncing on her heels a little bit in excitement. ]

[ nods, his voice still holding a residue of pride despite glancing back at tony, though for a different reason this time around. ]

[ sticks her nose up slightly in the air. ]

[ leads them forward, speaking matter-of-factly. ]

If he doesn't, I'll punch him.

[ laughs at that, not feeling like there's a need to respond with anything more as they go forth towards their destination. ]
