[ it was with some strange stroke of luck that nathan had confirmed the non-presence of albert, brianna, and damon in the mansion for the weekend, almost suspiciously double-checking with them all to make sure; albert was off to god knows where, brianna flew out to hawaii for a photo shoot, and damon was spending some quality time with his friends before the summer officially came to a close.

nathan didn't think it would be this simple. lo and behold, the mansion was completely his for the taking for at least two and a half days. this prompted the almost juvenile-like excitement that overcame him when he invited caleb over for a real two-night stay inside the mansion, to show him where he lived (where he didn't like to live) and let him explore what he normally did not allow people to see. so this is why he tugged at caleb's hand enthusiastically, his body betraying the way he tried to school his expression, knowing somewhere in the back of his mind that in the end it was quite a futile attempt.

stops when they're far enough inside the mansion, not bothering to let caleb's hand go as he turns slightly to look at him. ]

Well, here we are. [ a pause, as if his excitement was slowly wearing off. ] Again.

[ wraps an arm around him, almost instinctively as he nudges them forward again in a slight hurry. ]

[ decides to play dramatics to pass the time, dragging his feet a little bit in the process. ]

[ freezes as his face goes red. ]

T-that's okay. Think I'm fine.

[ blinks, but keeps his arms in place for a little while longer. ]

Nathan is sure?

[ shakes his head furiously. ]

N-not supposed to carry guys anyway. [ lifts a fist. ] Manly.

[ drops his arms hesitantly. ]

Ehh. . . man can carry man if need help?

[ grunts as he moves along. ]

Society doesn't think so.

[ quickly checks the position of the pizza guy in his head. then trails after, though his quickening pace has him catch up in a few seconds. ]

[ shoves his hands into his pockets. ]

When Nathan need and want.

What I want right now is to sit outside and eat pizza. [ pauses. ] And then do more stuff later. Or something.

Pizza, ja! And everything!

[ when they get to the door he opens it and steps out, leaning against one of the walls to wait out the remainder of their wait. ]

Dunno what else to do, though. There's nothing really special here.

[ is half-distracted by the approaching deliverer of food. his head turns slightly in that direction when it hits the five-minute warning mark. ]

Is okay if not special. If with Nathan, is good.

[ just looks out towards the gate's front entrance, giving a tiny shrug. ]

[ starts shuffling around for his wallet. ]

What Nathan do when at house?

[ looks up at the sky, a brief look of confusion on his face as he thinks. ]

I dunno. I sit in there?
