[ continues her trek towards one of the less crowded areas of the school, holding two bags full of (homemade) food close to her chest. when she spots her company for the afternoon she shifts the excess weight to free her hands; comes up behind anthony, reaching up to put her palms over his eyes as she happily exclaims: ]

[ opens the door for them to step in, carefully closing it behind them before she makes her way to one of the tables. decides to give them one next to the window, off to the corner for some privacy. only speaks when they sit: ]

[ sets the bags down on the table & pushes them gently to the side. glances at alyssa & then up at anne. ]

Can I have the usual smoothie?

[ gives him a short nod and a friendly smile, turning her attention to alyssa. ]

[ sits a little stiff in her seat, murmuring quietly: ]

W-Water. Please.

Certainly. [ glances between them briefly, deciding to leave the menus there after a moment of thought. ] I'll be back shortly, then.

[ it's only when she's gone that alyssa turns her head quickly to anothony again. leans in close to him and whispers: ]

She has boobs.

. . . [ chooses to pretend like he doesn't hear that, instead pointing to the blackboard on the far wall. ]

[ while she lets that go in one ear and out the other, keeping her eyes on anne as she continues to whisper: ]

How old is she? She looks like she could be in college... oh, dear, you said that she's younger? She looks so mature. [ a pause. whispers louder in emphasis: ] And she has boobs!

Not really. Puberty hasn't hit me yet.

[ shuffles on back with a smoothie and a glass of water in her hands, giving them both a cheerful: ]

[ pauses when she notices their position, briefly wondering why she seems to come at the most inopportune times. just sets anthony's smoothie down in front of him while alyssa sits up, giving her a curious look. ]

Oh my. [ places the water down in front of her. ] Are you his girlfriend?

[ fidgets a little, giving a tiny shake of her head while picking up the water to take a sip out of the straw. ]

N-No... just a friend.

[ peeks over at anthony curiously, but doesn't ask anything more on the topic as she has something else on her mind. ]

How was school today? Good?

[ takes a moment in responding, looking a bit puzzled at alyssa's words. but pulls his hand back & lets that go for now to take a sip of the smoothie instead, then nodding in belated answer to anne's question. ]

Same as always. [ pauses to take another sip before adding on the following as if it should explain everything: ] It's a Thursday.
