[ is standing near the entrance of the starbucks where he had first met nathan, looking strangely compliant & calm as he listens & reacts (as quietly & discreetly as he's capable) to the bustling crowd of the afternoon. it's not so busy as to give him a headache, but busy enough to keep him entertained as he waits for his teammate/friend. ]

[ & he's off as soon as those words hit the air, running half of his body into a wall (eh?!) as he navigates around the apartment to seek out the last of this new teams' members. ]

[ is peacefully cooking a meal for their welcoming party of sorts, intently attempting to focus her full attention on that. can feel herself slightly shaking from being rather nervous of the prospect of meeting their new teammate, unsure if she will get along with him or not. he sounded nice from what nathan told her, but...

it is only when she hears a thud coming from the living room (she thinks, anyway) that she snaps out of it, slowly and carefully peering out of the kitchen to see what was going on, if anything at all. ]

[ is rubbing at his nose, unable to figure out how that wall had moved itself there when movement catches his attention. ]

[ approaches her slowly, minding the walls & furniture with extra attention, even if he ends up bumping lightly into a chair the moment he begins to speak again. ]

[ suddenly has a thought, turning to look at her companion again. ]

AH-! I am sorry! Does Caleb-san enjoy fish? I-if not then I make something else.

[ startles back, stepping back a bit at the short cry. but grows aware to the distress soon enough, making him reach out to give her a pat on the shoulder. ]

Fish is okay! Smell is good, and food is food.
