[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ at that smile, gaze goes progressively lower until they're looking at the ground, feeling strangely embarrassed. ]

. . . Your turn. To pick.

[ lets that hand fall to anthony's shoulder, using it to move them both away. keeps it there as he glances around, giving a considering noise. ]

What kind of stuffed animals would a couple of brats want?

[ shrugs. ]

Snakes? Spiders? . . . Squirrels?

Well, they did say something about snakes... something about a donkey, too.

[ gives a small shrug in return. ]

. . . My Little Pony.

I wonder if they have those here. I'll get you one too if they do, since you like toys so much!

I graduated from My Little Pony last year.

One last Pony won't hurt you one bit!

[ makes the crow plush go CAW. ]

I'm sure it'll learn how to play well with others.

[ looks down at it. ]

That comes after potty training.

[ glances down at the stuffed animals. ]

Hmm. You've got a long road ahead of you. I hope motherhood is good to you, chocobo.

I'll raise it to be the very best.

[ sighs and pats his head again. ]

You and your Pokemon obsession.

[ pauses & looks up at him with semi-wide eyes, his voice full of wonderment. ]

. . . You got the reference.

Who wouldn't? I'd be worried if someone didn't know what you were talking about.

[ reaches out to give him a pat to the shoulder. ]

Recognizing and knowing. Different things.

[ tugs at his hair once in retaliation before releasing the hold on anthony's head, wandering on over to one of the seating areas. thankfully finds an empty seat, though at current there's only one open.

after a moment of consideration he sits and pats his lap. gives a happy look up at anthony in silence. ]

[ rubs at his scalp at the treatment, then follows along. only to stop when he realizes tony's intentions. ]

. . . Iyaa Tony, so scandalous.

Only to those who think it is. [ pat pat. ] C'mon, I'm a pretty comfy seat.

[ hesitates but takes a few steps forward anyway. pauses again before he carefully settles down lightly on a knee. ]

Bony.

[ doesn't hesitate in wrapping his arms around anthony's waist, pulling the smaller boy up against him. gives him a pathetic look. ]

Aw... you're hurting my feelings, here.

[ grunts, but otherwise doesn't respond, pointedly does not look up at his face (or the crowd, for that matter) as he wiggles around for comfort. ]
