[ glances over to it, leaning onto him a bit more. ]

[ shifts a bit to account for that, but otherwise walks normally. ]

They give you gummy worms too.

Have you been going there for a while now?

[ nods. ]

Since I got into varsity.

[ hums a little in reply, her interest piqued. when they get close enough she stops them to peek into the window and look around, as if she's on a mission to find something without being spotted. ]

[ almost just walks right into the store without much thought when she stops, making him jerk into a halt as well. peers at her, then just blinks. ]

[ keeps on looking... then says a short ah-hah! when she spots what she's looking for. looks back at anthony. ]

There's a pretty waitress in here.

[ nods slowly, almost hesitating before he answers. ]

[ looks back in. droops a little. ]

[ peeks through the window, then leans away. ]

[ peers up at him curiously. ]

[ nods. ]

She has blonde hair, and probably light-colored eyes... don't guys like that the best? [ puffs out her cheeks a little. ] She even has a feminine figure. I look like a boy compared to her.

[ stares at her for a long time, wondering if he should take this seriously. then shakes his head, deciding for a middle ground. ]

Your mom's a model. You'll grow into it.

[ puffs out her cheeks more, if that were at all possible. ]

But that doesn't mean anything!

[ as if on cue she opens the door, peeking out of it when she sees a familiar face. blinks over at alyssa when she squeaks in surprise, then smiles at anthony. ]

Good afternoon, Anthony.

[ had lifted both hands to poke at alyssa's cheeks, but drops them when anne appears. turns to her with a returning nod. ]

Hi, Anne. Table for two?

Of course. Right this way.

[ opens the door for them to step in, carefully closing it behind them before she makes her way to one of the tables. decides to give them one next to the window, off to the corner for some privacy. only speaks when they sit: ]

Would you like anything to drink?

[ sets the bags down on the table & pushes them gently to the side. glances at alyssa & then up at anne. ]

Can I have the usual smoothie?

[ gives him a short nod and a friendly smile, turning her attention to alyssa. ]

What would you like, miss?

[ sits a little stiff in her seat, murmuring quietly: ]

W-Water. Please.

Certainly. [ glances between them briefly, deciding to leave the menus there after a moment of thought. ] I'll be back shortly, then.

[ it's only when she's gone that alyssa turns her head quickly to anothony again. leans in close to him and whispers: ]
