[ circles around to face her boys when they get inside of the park, taking out her handy dandy map to look over it. doesn't take too long in deciding what to do first; hands go on her hips, giving them a look as if she's leading an army going to war, though the smile on her face adds something more pleasant onto the double-meaning. ]

So I was thinking that we should split up first and meet up for lunch later. It's pretty crowded today. Going in twos is the best option, since we don't want to lose any short people.

[ (un)fortunately doesn't seem to notice the birds, drawing out his cellphone when he feels it vibrate. raises an eyebrow at it, truly surprised; flips it open, gaze skimming over the text quickly. expression goes soft for a moment before rolling his eyes. doesn't text back, however, simply closing it & putting it back into his pocket. ]

[ is blind to damon's actions (it's nothing new to him), eyes closing briefly before craning his neck up to look at the sky. shifts his gaze to the families around them, sighing once before scratching the back of his head, continuing their trek in silence. ]

[ grumbles a bit under his breath about the heat, feeling his body slowing against his will. is otherwise silent, knowing a thoughtful atmosphere when he sees one. ]

[ steals another long glance after he's through, not speaking for a while. throws his hands behind his own head to cup it, shifting to lightly nudge damon's side. speaks nonchalantly, like he's not trying to be encouraging. ]

Well, whatever, you've got like, what, a million years of school left? So you've got boatloads of time to enjoy it.
