[ isn't entirely there even when the plane comes to a complete stop; the noise ringing in his head is as painful as he remembers it being, making him sway a bit while pressing a hand to his forehead. the world before his eyes seems to double, triple, merge back into one, then double again, while the blueprint-world throbs in noisy emptiness. makes small whimpering noises when they're walking, barely hanging onto consciousness by focusing on that comforting, erratic heartbeat he knows is near.

gropes around for a smaller hand that he knows is around (but can't remember why it would be right this moment) while mumbling absentmindedly under his breath in german, as if he's welcoming himself back home. ]

I usually get restless if I try to rest. Think you're rubbing off on me.

[ grunts at the sudden shift, but keeps staring down at him, fidgeting a little as he waits for the beep. ]

[ when he doesn't hear any verbal reply from caleb he glances at him in the corner of his eye. sighs. ]

[ eyes glance elsewhere as he thinks, brows furrowing as he attempts to apply the new meaning in the context of nathan's previous sentence. ]

Not bad. Rubbing off against someone means your personality is doing, well. [ lifts his hand, rubbing it against caleb again. ] That, but not in a physical way. Your characteristics are "rubbing off" on someone, I mean.

[ goes cross-eyed, having only really understanding up to 'not bad'. but that seems to be enough for him, as he just shakes his head in defeat. ]

[ keeps that smile on his face while removing the hand, bringing his mug up to his lips to take a small sip in silence. ]

[ rests his head back on nathan's, wrapping an arm around his waist to tug him a little closer. ]

[ ears automatically tint pink despite slowly getting used to the contact, scooting closer to accommodate their new position. looks into the fire, getting lost in deep thought; grows a bit subdued with said thoughts, tapping a finger against the rim of his cup in hesitation. inhales, exhales. ]

If... there was at all a small possibility of being able to move back here... would you?
