[ begins to head towards the direction he was nudged, not being able to help himself from looking over his shoulder over at the family, though he turns back within a shrug soon after. ]

[ follows his line of sight back to the family as well. raises an eyebrow, but just continues his trek to the bathroom in silence. keeps scrubbing at his face in the meanwhile, the sticky sensation starting to really bother him. ]

[ when they finally get there he makes a face, muttering something about public bathrooms being disgusting. grabs onto a handful of paper towels, using one of them to turn on the tap. repeats the process for the button that releases the soap, too. ]

[ watches this procedure & snorts, rolling his eyes. just gets to cleaning his own hands and cheek, not bothering with the tedious procedures that nathan seems to be practicing. ]

Think there's anyplace where we can get a new map?

[ scrubs at his face, raising an eyebrow over at damon. ]

Yeah, probably. Why?

Dunno. Heard they're useful to have around, maps.

Ha ha ha. [ chucks the used paper towels into the trash, deciding at the last minute that he should use his hand sanitizer, too. ] I don't think we're stupid enough to get lost in Disneyland, genius.

[ shrugs & wipes the water off his cheek on his shoulder. ]

Can't hurt.

And you done preening yet?

[ the squawk he lets out turns a few heads in the bathroom. ]

I'm not preening!

Iyaa~ not the germs~

S-SHUT UP! Do you know how many germs public bathrooms carry? TONS! It's disgusting!

N, if I don't get sick off 'em, you're good.

It's not even about getting sick! It's the principle, man, the principle-!

Germs that don't get you sick aren't worth worrying about.

[ grumbles some kind of inaudible reply, shoving the hand sanitizer back into his pocket. ]

So are we going to get that map or not?

Yep. Lead the way, Mister I-don't-get-lost-in-Disneyland.

[ pauses in his first few steps and then just stops altogether. it takes him a moment, but: ]

Y-yeah, I'll definitely get it, just you watch!

I trust ya.

[ & proceeds to put a hand on his hip, looking expectant. ]

[ doesn't look at him, too busy making a face in concentration, remembering something about them being at the front gates. this is when he stomps around and leads them, though after fifteen minutes it seems like all they've done is went around in a circle.

stops in the middle of a crowd. throws his hands up in the air. ]

WHERE'S THE EXIT?!

[ is laughing off to the side, amused beyond words. shakes his head & when members of the said crowd turns to look at them, he simply shrugs in answer. ]

[ is too busy looking angry to notice, up until about ten people point in the direction they're supposed to be going. pauses for a moment or two. ]

... yeah, I totally knew that.

[ & onward, like nothing ever happened. ]

[ lagging a little from behind, still shaking with mirth. ends up having to jog a bit to catch up against the flow of the crowds, coughing against his shoulder. ]

Shut up.

[ they get there in less than a handful of minutes, walking straight up to the entrance that leads past the gates. grabs one -- no, wait, two -- of the maps, walking back to damon as he opens one up to glance over it. raises an eyebrow. ]

Hey, uh. Do you remember the name of the hotel we're at?

[ looks over at the map too, slightly leaning agianst nathan's shoulder while doing so. is too distracted to notice the implications of the question, answering duly: ]

Hm? Yeah, the Disneyland Hotel.
