[ is standing near the entrance of the starbucks where he had first met nathan, looking strangely compliant & calm as he listens & reacts (as quietly & discreetly as he's capable) to the bustling crowd of the afternoon. it's not so busy as to give him a headache, but busy enough to keep him entertained as he waits for his teammate/friend. ]

Nathan doesn't care about most people. I've been around him long enough to know that he likes you. [ pauses, giving it some thought. ] A lot, even if he can't acknowledge it just yet.

[ shifts his gaze over to caleb again, giving a smile and another light pat. ]

[ looks pleased at the contact, only tilting his face away when he wants it upright for deciphering, re-translating (into german) in his head & proper thinking. doesn't voice his thoughts, however, trusting his expression to communicate that for him while he gives another returning pat of his own. ]
