[ isn't entirely there even when the plane comes to a complete stop; the noise ringing in his head is as painful as he remembers it being, making him sway a bit while pressing a hand to his forehead. the world before his eyes seems to double, triple, merge back into one, then double again, while the blueprint-world throbs in noisy emptiness. makes small whimpering noises when they're walking, barely hanging onto consciousness by focusing on that comforting, erratic heartbeat he knows is near.

gropes around for a smaller hand that he knows is around (but can't remember why it would be right this moment) while mumbling absentmindedly under his breath in german, as if he's welcoming himself back home. ]

[ straightens to peek behind hilda where he thinks nathan is, stretching a hand out. ]

[ smiles down at nathan when he hesitates, gently taking the suitcase away from him. ]

[ keeps his eyes on the ground after one glance at hilda, quickly moving away to take caleb's hand and get into the car. shifts to hold onto his arm instead, almost as if he's a kid latching onto someone for some semblance of security. ]

[ puts the luggage in the passenger's seat, slipping into her own with ease. adjusts the rear-view mirror, checks for any oncoming cars, then begins their ride. tries to speak in the thickest german accent she can manage while driving: ]

Velcome to ze Hilda Driving Services. Please vuckle your zeatbelts, keep all limbs in ze car, and enjoy ze ride!

[ nuzzles the top of nathan's head reassuringly. & doesn't bothering lifting his head away afterward when the wave of motion sickness hitting him belatedly in the face of the airport trauma. ]

Erm. . . Nathan, she say English?

[ makes a soft grunting noise, just pressing his face into the side of caleb's shoulder. ]

[ reaches over to give nathan's hand a pat, keeping his eyes firmly closed as he speaks, already starting to deteriorate into his characteristic babble. ]

Germish. . . ? Is easy to learn? Hard? Nathan talk Germish too? Is important for team?

[ wiggles around, making it easier for both of them to move positions. resumes a typical arrangement, sitting up as tall as possible so that he can slowly bring caleb's head to his chest. fidgets, feeling a little uncomfortable in the face of being assertive, but eventually just holds him steady while speaking for caleb's benefit. ]

Naw, it's really difficult to learn. I can speak it sometimes. Not important for the team, though. You should just focus on your English.

[ presses his face into nathan's chest happily, almost instinctively, opening his real eye to help communicate his gratitude & affection when he glances up at the smaller boy. ]

Danke. And I learn English first. But Nathan know a lot. . . what more Nathan know?

Um. I know Japanese... some Korean. But I really want to learn... [ pauses. manages to mumble his last thought out, face going red. ] G-German. I-- I guess.

German! Deutsch! Nathan learn Deutsch, is very good! I help!

[ stays silent and half-deaf to their conversation as she goes along, letting out an "ah!" when her house (http://i35.tinypic.com/9kw429.jpg) comes into view. uses one hand to wave dramatically before pointing to her right. ]

Vadies and Gentleven, our destination-!

[ pulls up to the front of her parking garage and stops the car, getting out to go around to the other side to open the door for caleb and nathan. peers at them before her eyes land on the shorter of the two. ]

This used to be my parent's old place, but I took it off their hands when they moved. [ winks & then looks at caleb, leaning into the car to nuzzle his nose. ] I know you've already seen it, though!

[ grins up at hilda & nods, slowly extracting himself from nathan when he feels his world slow down & re-center. leans his head closer to hilda's to give hers a fond bump. then takes a deep breath, dislodges himself from both nathan & hilda almost reluctantly to push himself out of the car.

jumps up & down a few times when he feels the solid ground under his feet not sway for the first time in many hours. then he tilts his head, taking the time to fully re-adjust himself, looking much healthier & comfortable. ]

< I know Hilda's house inside-out! Hilda doesn't change it too much, so it's easy to memorize. >

[ blushes slightly at being called "shy" but can't seem to protest to it. slowly slides out of the car, rubbing at his arm a little bit as he looks around. lifts that hand and rubs at his eyes instead, grumbling something underneath his breath. ]

[ stays put when hilda pets him, looking content where he stands before the words of nathan's mumble catches his attention. draws back from hilda slowly & bounds on over to nathan, bending a little to peer at his face worriedly. ]

What is contact? Hurt Nathan?
