No, it's just-- [ pauses. face contorts in concentration and then flushes awkwardly. ] S-something about... atmosphere.

At-mose-feer. [ short pause. then blinks, feeling like he knows this one. ] Sky?

Yeah, but it has a different meaning. [ another pause as he stares off into space. releases a hand from his mug as he shakes his head, lifting his free hand to take the towel off. ] Like a mood or feeling.

[ takes one more sip & puts the mug of tea down. seems to ignore the words in favour of leaning in a little so that he can nudge his nose into nathan's hair, nuzzling at the wet strands fondly. ]

[ ears grow warm at the contact but does not move nor show any displeasure towards it. fidgets a bit regardless, promptly staring down at his tea instead. ]

[ turns his head so that he can rest his own head on top of nathan's hair, closing his eyes. ]

Rain is bad for me when I help team. But rain today is okay.

[ shifts a bit to accommodate his weight, peering up at him as best as he can. ]

Ja! Is good at-mose-feer, and SAVE do not need help.

[ thinks about that in silence, drumming his fingers on the mug. lips eventually twitch up into a small smile. ]

It's okay for me too. [ murmurs against the rim of the cup. ] Today is a good day.

[ leans away when he sees that nathan is about to drink, picking up his own mug to take a sip of his own. ]

Is a very good day. Rest a lot.

[ while he plops his head down on caleb's shoulder, giving a small sigh. ]

I usually get restless if I try to rest. Think you're rubbing off on me.

[ blinks down at him. ]

Restless? No rest? Erm. . . rubbing?

... [ leans most of his weight on him. ] Professor Nathan is out at the moment. Leave a message after the beep.

[ grunts at the sudden shift, but keeps staring down at him, fidgeting a little as he waits for the beep. ]

[ when he doesn't hear any verbal reply from caleb he glances at him in the corner of his eye. sighs. ]

[ speaks obediently. ]

[ lifts a hand. rubs it against caleb's shoulder. puts it back around his mug. ] That.

[ eyes glance elsewhere as he thinks, brows furrowing as he attempts to apply the new meaning in the context of nathan's previous sentence. ]

[ shakes his head. ]

Not bad. Rubbing off against someone means your personality is doing, well. [ lifts his hand, rubbing it against caleb again. ] That, but not in a physical way. Your characteristics are "rubbing off" on someone, I mean.

[ goes cross-eyed, having only really understanding up to 'not bad'. but that seems to be enough for him, as he just shakes his head in defeat. ]

[ uses the hand that was rubbing caleb to instead nestle it into his hair. ]

Yeah, but you'll get it someday.

[ leans into it while giving a small nod, repeating after him. ]

[ keeps that smile on his face while removing the hand, bringing his mug up to his lips to take a small sip in silence. ]
