--drunk off of LOVE!

[ just holds him closer, as close as he can. pretends he doesn't see the crowd, too busy trying to turn anthony's head his way to give him a (ridiculous, over-dramatic) kiss. ]

Hr-- rrk?! [ decides the slushie's not worth it, letting it go immediately to reach over to cover tony's mouth with both hands. glances quickly around at the crowd. ]

No. No, no, no, bad idea! Worse than a hang-over! Love's overrated! Bad blackmail--! PUBLIC!!

[ nudges his face between those hands, but this time to speak instead of completely invading anthony's personal space. snakes his hands down to place them on his friend's lower back, pulling him closer. ]

But I cannot stop, my love. Can one not show his undying affections for his mate anywhere he pleases? To shower him with the passion and desire that he feels? I just can't help myself.

[ breath hitches as he gulps, eyes widening. shoves his hands on top of his own mouth instead, making his next words come out a little muffled. ]

We're breaking up not making o-- [ stops himself, growing even brighter. ] He's not serious. He might be serious. Bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. T-Think of the children, Tony! Innocent minds! Guys, girls, birds, bees-- MY VIRGINITY.

[ the grin on his face spreads a bit wider as he just watches and listens. snorts once in amusement when he feels like he's finally done, expression softening. leans in closer to brush noses with anthony, whispering lowly, for only him to hear: ]

Cute.

[ pulls away after that but keeps a hand around his waist, using his free one to wave at the people who were watching, as if it were an act of some sort. keeps on doing that until the spectators give them an applause, stand there for a moment longer, then disappear into the flow of people surrounding them. ]

[ just stands there dumbly for a moment, heart still going many miles a second as his mind attempts to catch up. when he feels the eyes of the public finally leave them, his legs jelly-fy a bit. leans against tony a little heavily, a little spent. ]

Faint. When in doubt, faint.

[ blinks down at anthony before wrapping both of his arms around the smaller boy, keeping him upright. ]

I don't think I like this fainting idea.

[ pushes his face into tony's chest. ]

It's a last resort.

[ raises a hand to stroke anthony's hair. ]

You should just come back to my place and cuddle with me. No fainting needed.

[ breathes out slowly & wraps his arms around tony to complete their impromptu hug. ]

. . . I can do cuddles. Later.

[ tries to glance down at him. ]

Yeah?

[ dislodges himself slowly, a thought coming to mind. ]

Depends on your schedule. Not busy?

[ blinks. scratches his head in thought. ]

Not really... kinda cleared up this day for you guys, so.

[ tilts his head a bit in thought, finally meeting his eyes. ]

. . . What about at night?

[ shakes his head. ]

Nope. I'm all yours.

[ makes a considering noise & reaches for a hand. ]

Let's have a sleepover. You, me, Lyssa. [ pauses. ] If she's okay.

[ blinks but dutifully holds onto his hand. ]

Why wouldn't she be okay?

Family curfew. Her dad. [ glances around quickly before adding on: ] The kids.

[ raises an eyebrow, though a tiny smile comes to his lips. ]

Didn't think it'd be that strict. She used to sleep over with us all the time, right?

[ shrugs. bends down to pick up the slushie that he dropped to throw it into the trash. ]

This is college. New rules.

[ looks him up and down, almost in consideration. shrugs and lets it go, giving his hand a tug back towards the crowd. ]

What kind of stuff will us college kids be doing, then?

[ follows along, glancing at the other activities in half-interests. ]

Longer sleep hours. Not allowed to wake up earlier than 10.

... gee, that sounds like loads of fun.

[ stops when he spots a bunny plush. gives tugs in that direction. ]

We're open to suggestions.

[ goes along willingly, seemingly interested in their new destination. ]

Popcorn. Movies. No Gundam allowed.
