[ is standing near the entrance of the starbucks where he had first met nathan, looking strangely compliant & calm as he listens & reacts (as quietly & discreetly as he's capable) to the bustling crowd of the afternoon. it's not so busy as to give him a headache, but busy enough to keep him entertained as he waits for his teammate/friend. ]

[ looks him up and down, but eventually just shrugs, turning once more so that he's walking normally again, deciding to go quiet for the rest of their short trip. ]

[ as promised they come upon the apartment building in question. simply walks the path that he seems to know even if he doesn't frequent the trip there, stopping after they go up some stairs and stand in front of a door.

turns to caleb, tilting his head to the side. ]

[ needs to blink a little to clear away the excess information in his head, turning & giving nathan his full attention when he nods the affirmative. ]

[ turns after the nod and knocks on the door twice, but opens it without getting any consent for his rather noisy entrance: ]

[ slowly but surely comes out of the living room, looking slightly grumpy. ]

[ walks further inside, slipping his messenger bag off his shoulder to put it on one of the chairs. ]

[ nods, satisfied with that. grabs something out of his bag before turning to walk towards the kitchen, disappearing out of sight. ]

[ stares at the direction nathan left in for a moment before shifting to look at caleb again. just simply looks at him, as if he's expecting him to say something. ]

[ scanning the apartment for a short moment before his attention turns back to his teammate. blinks at him, considers what he can say & then settles with: ]
