[ hits send on the text message to alyssa -- that he's coming to visit for a short while -- before he starts up his scooter & steers himself in the direction of nathan's apartment. his backpack is holding only one thing, but it's precious enough of a bundle that he wears the backpack against his stomach. ignores the looks he's getting both on & off the street, parking tinkerbell in her usual corner spot. it's been almost two weeks since he's saw her (two weeks to recover), which is why he'd armed himself with a present in apology.

stands in front of the door to the stairs for a moment, wondering if he's feeling up to the physical exertion today-- then just changes direction to walk in the direction of the elevator. glances up at the ceiling of it when he's on board & pressed the proper number, feeling a little nervous for no reasons he could consciously finger. decides to shrug it off the best he can when he shuffles off it, rummaging around his backpack to take out the wrapped present before something (someone?) in front of a door catches his eye.

... stops. blinks. ]

. . . ? [ belatedly realizes that the boy is front of the door he needs to reach, making him pause, blink & speak: ] . . . Hi.

[ doesn't notice him asking the question, too busy popping out his chopsticks (http://i56.tinypic.com/dm46xi.jpg) as he stares and waits for the noodles to be done. peeks into the cup after a few minutes to check, propping his chopsticks in his hands to begin eating when all seems well.

looks up at anthony after he quickly slurps some noodles, munching on them quite happily in silence. ]

[ pauses when he sees the box (& the design on it), momentarily forgetting his question to simply stare at the box & sip at his tea in silence, as if mystified. ]

[ when he's satisfied with his meal he looks over at anthony again, then at his tea. places the chopsticks down as he slides off the chair to go back to the counter. after a minute of somewhat confusion he takes the cookie that's handed to him, giving the amount of money that he thinks is correct.

scoots back over to the table, holding out that cookie anthony had been previously eying. ]

[ takes the cookie with a blink, feeling both surprised & a little touched. ]

Oh. Uh. T-Thank you.

[ nods once in a sign of acknowledgment, slipping into his chair easily again. picks up the chopsticks, grabs some noodles-- sluuuurp. ]

[ & as if to match that, he puts his tea down to nom down the cookie, going right down the middle of it like a beaver. ]

[ keeps on eating for a while longer, watching anthony as he munches on his cookie. after a moment he takes out his phone again. ]

「 Are you in college? 」

[ finishes the rest of the cookie, looking rather content. washes down the last of it with some tea & nods in response when he sees the question. ]

Yeah. In second year.

[ types in, before he dives back into his noodles: ]

「 Do you have a job? 」

[ nods again. ]

At a flower shop.

「 Then you're an adult. 」

[ picks up his ramen bowl and slurps down the rest of it. ]

[ ... just droops. ]

[ once again he removes himself from his seat, quickly making his way to the woman behind the counter that keeps watching them every once in a while. holds up his phone--water, please and after some thought: tissues--and when he gets handed the items he comes back over.

plops in the seat and sips his water before setting it on the table. takes out his pikachu plush, places it on his companion's lap, then stares at anthony in silence. holds out the tissues to him after a moment's pause. ]

[ isn't even thinking when he hugs the pikachu plush to his chest when offered, simply reacting until he sees the tissues. ]

. . . [ takes the tissues & uses them to blow his nose for show. ]

[ leans forward to pat his hand a little, taking another drink of his water. ]

[ accepts the pats wordlessly before settling back into his seat to take a sip of his own drink, still clutching the pikachu plush to his chest. ]

[ stares up at him for a good few minutes in silence. picks up his cellphone, typing: ]

「 What now? 」

[ is silent for a moment longer, lulling things over. ]

. . . You don't have a place to go, right?

[ shakes his head. ]

「 Staying in front of Nathan's place. Camping. 」

[ also shakes his head. ]

Still a bad idea.

「 It's okay. 」

[ rummages through his bag. pulls out a small pillow (http://i56.tinypic.com/2cyo1e.jpg) and blanket (http://i53.tinypic.com/254zjia.jpg), showing them to anthony, as if that solves every problem. ]

[ then seems to recover at a record time when his eyes slide down to the backpack by accident. is perfectly honest when he asks the next questions: ]

What about Gundam? Would a Gundam fit in there. . . ?

[ nods enthusiastically, peeking into the bag to take out a gundam model. holds it up to him, as if showing it off with a little glow about him. ]
