[ pulls onto the street across from anthony's apartment complex to park his car, turning the vehicle off before leaning back into the seat in silence. a day when they're both free was rare to come by nowadays, thus the sudden decision to grab the boy when he was given the a-okay by anthony himself. only this time he was going to him instead of the other way around, a good way to practice on getting back into something more comfortable with the friend(s) he had not been able to spend time with as often as he would have liked. still, it was a good start, and that's really all that mattered to him.

drums his fingers against the steering wheel in thought, shaking his head before getting out of the car, pocketing his keys after he's locked up. doesn't take any time in doing the typical routine (that he had not been able to do in quite some time)-- walks in, waits for the elevator, steps inside to push the button for the correct floor number, then strolls on out when the ding signals his arrival. his feet carry him at a leisurely pace towards the apartment, arriving in no time at all; after he knocks he shoves his hands into his pockets, taking a look around the hallway as if this were his first time visiting. a moment's thought makes him grin to himself a little (the things that happened last time they were alone together, still going over that day with some fondness attached despite the bad moments), schooling the smile to instead train his eyes on the door to wait for his friend to appear. ]

You've got it!

[ heads in the direction of the entrance of the mall, moseying on in when they arrive to begin their trek to the magical land of anthony's happiness and joy toys. ]

[ when they arrive, his eyes are already jumping from store to store, only lingering when something catches his attention. gives tony a single tug before he starts wandering toward a smaller store with asian-related merchandise. ]

[ blinks down at anthony when he feels the tug, stopping in his tracks to see where he's going. looks briefly confused at his choice of store but doesn't say a word, moseying on over behind his friend to await for whatever doom would fall upon him. ]

[ face takes on a pleased blush the moment they enter the store, quickly making a beeline toward where the pokemon plushes sit lined up against a wall. takes the time to pet each one, before he picks up the eevee plush. tucking it against his chest, he turns to present it to tony. ]

LOOK.

[ is too busy peering around to properly notice anthony's fawning over the plushes, mildly interested in the items littered around the store. when he hears that LOOK he indeed looks over, eyes going down to the strange-looking stuffed animal in anthony's arms.

... can't help but smile at that, crossing his arms over his chest before leaning down to peer at its (& anthony's) face. ]

Well isn't that just the most adorable thing.

[ nods a few times & after giving the plush another squeeze, he hands it over to tony. ]

This store is amazing.

[ -- that's all he manages to get out until he's wandering again, ignoring the amused look from the cashier as he flutters from pokemon to other toys until he comes up to a particular plush (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/Airleas/532_happy_sanrio_winter_34.jpg). face heats up even more, pointing at it excitedly. ]

[ takes it without protest (at least not anything said out loud) yet can't help but stare at it a little, as if it's a foreign object. shrugs that off and takes a moment or two to poke around, only turning back to anthony (again) when he hears his exclamation. ]

[ isn't sure what to think of that at this particular moment, deciding that it's safe to just wander on over and pick it up & examine the plush. some enthusiasm couldn't hurt, he guesses. ]

Hey, it does look like her!

[ looks pleased enough with the agreement, picking up the plush to brush its head a few times. then starts glancing around again until he spots the third plush (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/Airleas/mm-dx-black-2T.jpg) of his choice. also picks it up, blush subsiding to make way for amusement instead.

turns around, presents it to tony yet again. ]

[ just. stares at it. then pushes it away from him ]

[ glances around the plush selection they're in front of, piqued by one up at the top. takes it out, showing the one he chose (http://i51.tinypic.com/2vkevfb.jpg) to anthony. ]

Look, it's you!

[ stares at it for a moment in silence, then puffs out his cheeks to mimic it. stares up at tony with that expression in place. ]

I have more volume.

[ tucks the plush into the crook of an arm, lifting his free hand to squish those cheeks. ]

Naw, I think it has plenty enough volume.

[ jerks back a little at the sudden gesture, air blowing out of his mouth in a big rush. after a moment of halfhearted struggling, manages to mouth a few words around the grip. ]

Iyaaa Tony, it's a birdy minor.

[ grips just a little tighter so he can move anthony's face side-to-side while laughing shortly. ]

Then I -- [ hrghhhhh. starts swatting at tony's hand for freedom so that he can speak more freely. ] -- want them all.

[ lets him go so that he can look between all the plushes they have out. shrugs a little. ]

Sure, I don't mind.

[ blinks. then stares, pressing the alyssa & tony plushes against himself. ]

. . . Really?

[ nods. stares down at the black and pink grumpy-looking one with an uncomfortable look on his face. ]

'Cept that one. Find something cooler, chocobo.

[ tightens his grip. ]
