[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ laughs a little at that, gaze going forward again. uses his free hand to weave his fingers through anthony's hair gently. ]

I'm not so sure about that, chocobo.

[ feels something tighten in his chest at tony's expression, making him turn his head to nuzzle at that hand a little. ]

. . . Still young. No rush.

[ murmurs the rest quietly, under his breath. ]

[ doesn't look nor talk to anthony for a moment, turning his head to look at him when he feels steady again. ]

What about you? I can see you marrying some pretty gal in the future. [ gestures with his slushie. ] Heck, I thought you were going to marry Alyssa for a while there, actually.

[ draws in a quiet breath & speaks slowly as to keep his voice steady. avoids looking at tony altogether. ]

I. . . [ shrugs awkwardly, trying to ignore the sudden guilt. ] I don't know yet. Still looking.

[ watches him silently, wondering if he should push him. decides against it at the last minute, instead just giving him a gentle squeeze for comfort. ]

No rush, remember? Think about that kinda stuff once you've got a steady job.

[ nods a little, already pushing himself into recovery. ]

And pay off my debts.

[ when it's gone he lifts a finger, poking the side of anthony's face. ]

Well, I'll be fine. You're on your own.

. . . [ sniffs, takes a long sip & tries to wiggle away halfheartedly. ]

[ presses the slushie against tony's cheek. ]

We're breaking up.

[ swings his other arm around anthony, giving him a great big squeeze. when he speaks he means to make a scene, getting louder with each word: ]

NO! No, I need you-! MY ONE TRUE LOVE!!

[ makes one of his hrk sounds when he's squeezed, almost dropping the slushie in alarm. glances around at the small crowd that seems to be gathering to enjoy the spectacle. ]

Shh--! Tony. [ wiggles an arm in between them to try & shove away tony's face as well as cover his mouth. ] Too early to be drunk--!

[ just holds him closer, as close as he can. pretends he doesn't see the crowd, too busy trying to turn anthony's head his way to give him a (ridiculous, over-dramatic) kiss. ]

Hr-- rrk?! [ decides the slushie's not worth it, letting it go immediately to reach over to cover tony's mouth with both hands. glances quickly around at the crowd. ]

No. No, no, no, bad idea! Worse than a hang-over! Love's overrated! Bad blackmail--! PUBLIC!!

[ nudges his face between those hands, but this time to speak instead of completely invading anthony's personal space. snakes his hands down to place them on his friend's lower back, pulling him closer. ]

But I cannot stop, my love. Can one not show his undying affections for his mate anywhere he pleases? To shower him with the passion and desire that he feels? I just can't help myself.

[ breath hitches as he gulps, eyes widening. shoves his hands on top of his own mouth instead, making his next words come out a little muffled. ]

We're breaking up not making o-- [ stops himself, growing even brighter. ] He's not serious. He might be serious. Bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. T-Think of the children, Tony! Innocent minds! Guys, girls, birds, bees-- MY VIRGINITY.

[ the grin on his face spreads a bit wider as he just watches and listens. snorts once in amusement when he feels like he's finally done, expression softening. leans in closer to brush noses with anthony, whispering lowly, for only him to hear: ]

Cute.

[ pulls away after that but keeps a hand around his waist, using his free one to wave at the people who were watching, as if it were an act of some sort. keeps on doing that until the spectators give them an applause, stand there for a moment longer, then disappear into the flow of people surrounding them. ]
