[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

[ pats it down when he gets all the sheets straightened, hands going to his hips. ] It's good to be tidy.

... [ stares at him, thinking. when it dawns upon him that he's been the only one that makes the bed this entire time he says: ] It all makes sense now.

Sense? What sense?

[ ignores that, adjusting a pillow before taking a seat on the bed, facing caleb. ]

Didn't Hilda ever teach you to make your bed after you get out of it?

Erm. . . [ thinks back, lines of concentration forming between his eyebrows. ]

Ja. But she say is okay when not too dirty.

It should be done regardless, you know, but. [ a pause, shifting his body a little in a half-fidget. ] I don't, uh. Mind making it for you. Or cleaning in general...

[ suddenly feels embarrassed over that, quickly adding: ]

B-But it's only 'cause I'm used to it! I like cleaning!

[ brightens anyway, enveloping nathan into yet another hug. ]

Danke, Nathan! Bed and house is very clean!

[ can't help but puff his chest out a little, even as he accepts and returns the hug. ]

[ pulls back slightly to put both of his hands into caleb's hair, ruffling the strands fondly. ]

Well, the place looks clean enough for now. I'll do it again when they leave.

[ thinks twice on explaining it to him, settling instead with a small shake of his head. hands ruffle caleb's hair again briefly. ]

We'll talk about this later. Let's get dressed instead, okay?

[ nods & dislodges to point to the clothes. moves around the bed to the closet, rummaging around before pulling out his winter jacket. ]

Mine is easy to wear.

... and I have to bundle up like I'm in the North Pole. Sounds great.
