[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

[ just grips onto him tighter as he finally comes down from his high, though there's something more gentle in the hand that lifts itself to place it right into anthony's hair, warm and nestled into the wayward strands. ]

[ his almost-reply is cut short by the punch, reeling backwards from the force and utter surprise that comes with it. a hand reaches up to cup the already reddening area on his face, turning back to his companion fully. ]

[ doesn't even strike him to apologize as he's still busy stuttering, trying to melt into the wall in embarrassment. ]

[ barely hanging onto coherency at this point, trying to backpedal some more while glancing quickly through the corner of his eyes in search of alyssa before reeling back up to tony's face. ]

[ blinks down at anthony in silence as he listens to his clipped language. seems to only focus on one part as he pushes back the strands of hair that rests across his face, striking some ridiculous kind of pose. ]

Yeah, isn't my hair sexy? I got it cut just recently, right after I got back home.

[ stares a little bit, but can't bring himself to nod. a few more steps back. ]

[ looks pretty pleased with his reply but is unable to avoid the natural compulsion to take up his friend's entire personal space; takes a few steps forward, reaching out to run a hand through anthony's hair. ]

Looks like your hair stopped freaking out a little bit. [ thinks, then leans in to sniff. ] Hm, maybe not. Did your girlfriend put some kind of miracle product on it or somethin'?

[ stiffens again, but allows the invasion of personal space for a moment before raising a hand to give tony's shoulder a little nudge to reclaim some breathing room while sputtering out a few more sentence fragments. ]

Didn't question it. Her dad's stuff. Doesn't make sense to me. Hair still defying gravity.

[ looks down for a moment, feeling entirely glad for the darkness of the party as he clears his throat to regain some normalcy despite the persisting blush. ]

[ just allows anthony to word-vomit, opting to stay quiet as long as he is possibly able to. when the last words are said he puffs out his chest and steps back an inch, looking as proud as he can get. ]
