[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

[ looks down at himself wordlessly. frowns, looking back up. ]

Uh. I was thinking maybe two or three...

[ shakes his head quickly. ]

Nein! Four is the small number!

It's snow! I'm gonna be cold either way.

[ crosses his arms over his chest, puffing out his cheeks a little. ]

What rule? I don't see any rules here.

[ just... stares at him. ]

... [ looks away, raising a hand to push it into caleb's face. ] Stop that.

[ dodges the hand easily enough, his expression firmly in place as he waits. ]

[ tips slightly forward when his hand reaches air, straightening a little awkwardly when he regains balance. a moment, and then he mutters underneath his breath: ]

But I didn't bring enough for four.

[ perks up immediately. ]

Is okay! Nathan wear mine!

Ja! I have good clothes.

[ shuffles his feet, grumbling nonsense before removing himself to wander off to "his room". returns swiftly with the backpack he had brought with him a few days ago, settling it on the edge of the bed to open it and pull a few things out. examines his clothes. ]

Guess it'll be alright...

[ shuffles on over to peer into the backpack as well, picking out the hat & gloves immediately to set them aside for later. points to the sweaters & a comfortable looking shirt. starts yammering happily when a plan seems to form in his head. ]

Shirt! Two Nathan jacket, one my jacket, and my big jacket!

[ snorts a little, zipping up his bag again to set it aside after grabbing caleb's suggested wear for the day. ]

If I can't move then I'm blaming you.

No blame. I am help! Nathan sleep, so need clothes.

[ moves to his side of the bed while shaking his head, beginning his usual bed-making routine. ]

Yeah, yeah...

[ blinks, watching him in a confused manner for a moment. ]

Nathan? No snow?

Snow after making the bed.

[ pats it down when he gets all the sheets straightened, hands going to his hips. ] It's good to be tidy.

[ peers down at the bed. ]

But we come back later?

... [ stares at him, thinking. when it dawns upon him that he's been the only one that makes the bed this entire time he says: ] It all makes sense now.
