[ after albert and brianna declared their plans to go out on a date for the rest of the evening, she took it upon herself to personally watch lyssa until they returned home, despite her former plans with her boyfriend. it's with that change (and realization of what she did at the very last moment) that she calls up caleb to tell him the news, sounding disappointed until she gleefully casually suggested that he come over to help. after some convincing that yes, albert won't be here and yes, she'll wait for him by the door, is done and over with, she happily skips down the stairs after telling lyssa's personal ninja butler that she'll be back shortly.

plops down on the second to last step of the stairs while happily swaying and humming to herself, her eyes planted on the doorway to wait for caleb to enter. ]

[ makes a little rrrrring noise, deciding to just flail in the direction of the nursery and-- looks even more panicked when her boyfriend is nowhere in sight when they arrive. ]

C-CALEB?! Where did you go!

[ crawls on the floor, looking underneath the crib. ]

[ pays nathania no mind, going straight to the crib itself to peer over at his son. lightly brushes at his cheeks with two fingers before starting to play with his hair.

... then seems to give in & simply picks up his baby boy to cradle him against his chest fondly. ]

[ while she's a crying heap on the floor, whimpering and whining pathetically. (my poor puppy... waaah...) after she's done she jumps up, pointing at albert. ]

[ cowering in the starbucks closest to the mansion. after sitting in high-alert fear, he finally seems to gather enough courage to peel himself out of his chair & toward a payphone.

dialing. ring ring ring... ]

[ it's a good thing she keeps her phone on her at all times, because the minute after she's crawling around in the gardens (just in case, since she found him there once before) she hears said phone ringing and picks it up after some consideration (& being briefly confused on seeing number restricted instead of an actual name). ]

[ hangs up and stands, looking down at her now dirty clothes. just brushes off what she can before trotting out of the gardens to make her way towards her destination. ]

[ --huff, puff. is a little winded by the time she gets close by, taking a small resting break to catch her breath (hey, it takes a lot out of someone her size). perks up once she sees caleb, quickly going over to him to bring him into one of her hugs. ]

I'm sorry! I didn't know he was coming home, and, and...

[ hugs her back warmly, relieved to see her. ]

Is okay! I see and hear him come so I. . . [ long, awkward pause. ] --!! Es tut mir leid, Nathan-ee-ah! I did not think, I just run!

It's okay. Lyssa was taken care of, so it's really no problem. [ pulls back slightly so she can rest her palms on his cheeks, looking sympathetic. ] My poor puppy. Are you sure you're okay now?

If you're sure... [ relaxes more fully, sighing a bit. ] Well, I guess we'd better go somewhere else for the night, then. I thought he'd still be gone by the time we went back to my room, but I guess we didn't have any luck tonight.
