[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ smiles widely and cranes his next down to nuzzle the top of anthony's head. ]

Arf arf! Excited, arf!

[ can't help but crack a smile at that despite shrinking a bit at the nuzzling, trying to shake the blush aside. gives tony a nudge with his shoulder fondly. ]

[ makes panting noises like a dog, giving his head a small nudge. ]

But I can't help myself!

[ & then he bends over even more to lick anthony's cheek once. ]

. . . ?!

[ lifts his hands to cover his face half-way. drops them. presses them to the sides of his head instead, as if he's trying to process what just happened. stays like that for a long minute. ]

. . . !!! This. . . ! [ moves a hand over the spot that had been licked, eyes wide. ] You! Hygiene! No, that's wrong. . . You!

[ feels his pulse speeding up rapidly, face growing progressively redder. gives tony's chest a shove with one hand to put some distance between them while shielding his face with the other as he tucks his chin against his collarbone. ]

Stay. There. For a sec. Let me. . . [ trails off, ends with a strained: ] Alien abduction. Transplanted. Brain? Something. . . something. . . huh?

... ?

[ blinks in confusion, but does as he's told and stays put. watches him, tilts his head, then gives a short "awoo?" as if he's asking what's wrong. ]

[ face heats up even further, though for a different reason. clears his throat, then peeks through his bangs cautiously while dropping his hand slowly as well. belatedly wipes at his cheek with the back of a hand. ]

Right. Aliens. Good. [ pauses. ] Not good. But I'm good.

[ keeps the same expression on his face but drops the cute act, instead lifting a hand to gently place the back of it onto one of anthony's cheeks. ]

Y'sure? You look like you need to sit down or something. Want something to drink?

[ shakes his head as both a response & a way to nudge that hand away. thunks his forehead against a shoulder briefly instead. ]

Go bankrupt if you buy food here. Brought some water with me.

Well that's no fun. I think you need to share a slushie with me!

[ grabs at his hand again and starts their trek once more, pointedly looking around for his destination. ]

[ follows along quietly before pointing at a random prize. ]

But mommy, I want that instead.

[ quickly looks on over to where anthony is pointing. ]

You want that stuffed crow? Okay!

[ begins to drag them in that direction. ]

[ blinks, taken off guard by the immediate answer. tugs on their connected hands to grab his attention. ]

But darts require hand-eye coordination.

[ doesn't reply until they're in front of the stand, letting go of his hand to take out a five dollar bill. ]

Pfft. I'll get it at least by the third dart.

[ shoves that hand back into a pocket, standing a bit awkwardly. ]

Too confident. Bet you can't.

[ holds the darts in his hand when he exchanges them for money, rolling them between his palms. ]

Bet me what?

[ shrugs. ]

Lame. [ aims the dart. ] How about this: If I get it by the third dart, you let me do whatever I want with you for a whole day. If I fail, then you can do the same with me.

[ glances at the dart. at the target. back at the dart & tony. ]

I don't come with an instant-food option.

Food isn't what I'm thinking about.

[ chucks the dart, missing on purpose. ]

[ hesitates when he feels a strange sense of doom. then shakes it off to nudge toward the darts anyway. ]

That's one.

[ throws the next one, once again missing. raises the next one before turning his head slightly to look at anthony properly, giving him a smile. ]

So? Deal?

[ stares after the second dart as if he's a bit surprised. then nods slowly. ]

[ with that said he flicks the dart right smack-dab in the middle of his target, barely giving it a glance. beams happily and throws his hands up in the air with an excited "WOOP"ing sound when the man behind the booth signals that he has indeed won. ]
