[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

Noooo. Snow nooow.

[ lifts his free arm to place that hand gently into nathan's hair. ]

Nathan is sure? Snow be there later. More snow, maybe.

[ pauses, feeling like he miscommunicated. then rubs the back of his head again. ]

Nathan not sleep in snow if we go?

[ blinks a few times, eyes averting elsewhere. ]

Uh. Why would I sleep in the snow?

[ another blink. ]

Because Nathan is tired?

[ turns his head away to snort once into his shoulder. ]

I couldn't sleep in the snow! It's too cold.

[ stills the petting so that he can lean down to nose at nathan's hair. ]

Nein. Snow is comfortable. I try before.

[ tries to peek up at him curiously. ]

Ja! Is cold like Nathan say, but is comfortable! [ a short pause. ] With many clothes.

Colds are nothing. I can handle it!

[ rolls his eyes, flicking caleb's forehead with a finger. ]

I won't get sick if I bundle up, you know.

Five clothes! Six?

[ looks down at himself wordlessly. frowns, looking back up. ]

Uh. I was thinking maybe two or three...

Nein! Four is the small number!
