[ but she doesn't get dressed, too busy pouting before wandering off into her walk-in closet. ]

I know I'm not perfect, but I didn't think my body was that bad to look at...

[ groans as loudly as he dares & so it sounds more like a squeak instead. ]

[ doesn't respond, too busy wiggling into the last of her clothes. after picking out the appropriate shoes she steps out, hands behind her back. ]

There. Happy?

[ cautiously turns around to peek through his fingers, only lowering them slowly when he realizes that he's in the clear & nods. ]

[ & then wanders over to her make-up table again to nab the purple headband that had been pointed out before. puts it in place, leaning into the mirror to smooth out the stray hairs. ]

[ relaxes completely now, also getting to his feet as he watches her finish up her attire. reaches out to fix her headband & some strands of hair at the end. draws back with another nod. ]

Perfect.

[ blinks up at him in surprise, feeling her cheeks go slightly warm with that expression on his face. looks back at herself in the mirror as she smiles widely. ]

[ gives her a finishing pat on the head. tugs on the collar of his own dress shirt in halfhearted attempt to complete his own image. ]

[ messes once more with her hair before grabbing at her purse, giving a nod to him when she's finished. ]

[ strides toward the door & stops when his hands land on the doorknob to glance back at her. ]

Are you ninja enough to escort us out?

[ seems to puff out her chest a little bit as she waltzes right out her bedroom door. ]

[ shuffles out after her as quietly as he could, jumping at little shadows as he keeps his eyes peeled for any strange movement. ]

[ looks over her shoulder and reaches out for his hand as they go along, hoping that'll relieve at least some of his fears. ]

[ takes her hand gratefully, squeezing it until they finally reach their destination of the front door. is the first one to shuffle outside, dragging her along toward where his scooter had been parked. ]

[ makes some "ooo" and "ahhh"ing sounds as she glances at it from all sides. ]

[ hands her his helmet. ]

I call her Tinkerbell.

[ takes it gingerly, placing it on her head. ]

She is quite lovely.

[ settles down while he goes ahead with his ritual attempts to get it to start. ]

She needs to go on a diet.

[ also settles behind him to wait this out, pulling out her cellphone to type up a text message. ]

[ makes a relieved 'whoosh' sound when the scooter finally starts making its putt putt putt sounds. cranes his head back toward her. ]

[ perks up when the scooter finally starts, quickly pressing send on her phone before shoving it back into her purse. wraps her arms around anthony's middle, pressing herself up against him. ]

[ makes himself comfortable & then guides the scooter to round its way out of the driveway slowly. ]
