[ scrunches his nose as he squeezes his eyes shut, muttering half-prayers for his safety. ]

[ it takes her a while to get it to behave, gently tugging on the strands so that it looks semi-styled. fluffs his hair a few times before stepping back, observing, then nodding. ]

[ squints at his reflection. ]

I'm not me anymore.

[ laughs and pats his cheeks gently. ]

[ makes dying noises. ]

[ puts her hands on her hips. ]

[ blinks at the sudden outburst. shakes her head and leans down to hug him lightly yet firmly around his neck, nuzzling into him. ]

[ blinks, a little startled at her own outburst. doesn't shake off her hold upon realizing it's not one he can break out of without some degree of effort, simply opting to lean back into her embrace. ]

[ shakes her head a bit, just keeping her hold on him. ]

[ leans his head backwards now so that it can rest on her shoulder. ]

[ turns her back towards him as she starts to peel off her robe. ]

[ opens mouth to retort back, realizes half-way what's happening & turns right back around swiftly on the stool. buries his face into his hands, sputtering embarrassed nonsense into his palms. ]

[ doesn't seem to notice as she gets dressed, only turning back to look at him when he doesn't say anything coherent. holds the last article of clothing in her hand while she speaks: ]
