[ glances at the clock on her wall before turning back to anthony, hands going into his hair to gently ruffle the strands around. ]

[ cranes his head upward, nearly bending over backwards to meet her eyes. ]

[ leans down to press her nose against his, nuzzling it. ]

No, darling, it's not going to hurt. [ gives a quick kiss to the tip of his nose, standing up straight again to stare at the mirror in thought. ] I'm just going to fix your hair for you.

[ looks a little disgruntled with a faint blush touching his cheeks, though not as noticeable as usual. follows her line of sight to the mirror & shakes his head. ]

But it's fine. [ points to the highest standing strand. ] See, it's a millimeter down from normal.

[ peers at it, deciding to humor him briefly. ]

[ brings up both hands in a half-banzai motion. ]

[ just starts to mess with his hair again, reaching over to grab a bottle that seems oddly out of place in her brightly-colored room. ]

My daddy uses this for his hair. It definitely won't push anything down for a significant amount of time, but it'll protect you from helmet hair on the way to the party.

[ jerks away, as if burned. ]

[ blinks down at him. ]

[ slowly tries to drag himself off the stool from the side. ]

[ it takes her a while to get it to behave, gently tugging on the strands so that it looks semi-styled. fluffs his hair a few times before stepping back, observing, then nodding. ]

[ squints at his reflection. ]

[ laughs and pats his cheeks gently. ]

[ makes dying noises. ]

[ puts her hands on her hips. ]
