[ hits send on the text message to alyssa -- that he's coming to visit for a short while -- before he starts up his scooter & steers himself in the direction of nathan's apartment. his backpack is holding only one thing, but it's precious enough of a bundle that he wears the backpack against his stomach. ignores the looks he's getting both on & off the street, parking tinkerbell in her usual corner spot. it's been almost two weeks since he's saw her (two weeks to recover), which is why he'd armed himself with a present in apology.

stands in front of the door to the stairs for a moment, wondering if he's feeling up to the physical exertion today-- then just changes direction to walk in the direction of the elevator. glances up at the ceiling of it when he's on board & pressed the proper number, feeling a little nervous for no reasons he could consciously finger. decides to shrug it off the best he can when he shuffles off it, rummaging around his backpack to take out the wrapped present before something (someone?) in front of a door catches his eye.

... stops. blinks. ]

. . . ? [ belatedly realizes that the boy is front of the door he needs to reach, making him pause, blink & speak: ] . . . Hi.

[ slowly settles himself down in front of him as well, blinking again. ]

I understand up to. . . [ points to space between 'strange' & 'gaijin'. ] There.

[ makes a 'o' shape with his lips in understanding. ]

[ another long pause, simply staring at anthony for a long moment. then writes: ]

「 Who are you? 」

[ tucks the present back into his backpack. ]

Anthony. I'm Alyssa's friend. [ gestures to the door they're sitting in front of. ] You?

[ & then he takes out his cellphone, opening it up to send a text message. ]

[ is momentarily distracted by the dangling pikachu keychain on the boy's phone, going a bit red at how cute it is.

-- then, yet again belatedly, flails a little. ]

9-1-1 is not the answer!

[ ignores his flailing, too busy holding up the cellphone to anthony's face. tilts it a little bit to the right before-- click.

looks down at the photo he took of him, giving a short nod. presses "send". ]

[ freezes. ]

HRK--?!

[ pulls his legs to his chest as he stares down at his cellphone, waiting for a response. sure enough it lets out a little tingling sound before he opens the message.

looks up at anthony. down at the text message. shuts his phone and pockets it, once again lifting his sketchpad to write: ]

「 Hana said you aren't a shotacon. You can be trusted. 」

[ calms a bit when he realizes that the police wouldn't be arriving in a moment or two. stares at the foreign word on the sketchpad, then back at the boy. ]

[ stares. stares some more. in his shock, speaks the first thing that comes to mind: ] . . . I don't like touching big boys either.

[ lifts his head up to nudge it in the direction of the door. ]
