[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

[ rushes on over to the door and opens it wide, not being able to help herself from throwing herself at him, albeit a little more gently than usual as to not throw them both on the ground. ]

[ can't help but grunt a little still, though he does manage to stand his ground & hugs back. ]

[ but can't seem to help himself when he next says, in his thickest chinese accent: ]

[ pulls back when he speaks, looking down at the silk bathrobe on her body. looks back up at him. ]

I don't have my wallet on me, but I'll be more than happy to give you something that's worth five dollars!

[ rolls his eyes upward, wondering if he could still get away if he ran for the door. persists with the accent regardless, having a tad too much fun to give it up prematurely. ]

No. Five dollar American or no pizza.

[ doesn't grace him with a reply, too busy yanking him by the collar of his shirt to drag him inside her room. ]

[ goes along with the tugging with slightly dragging feet. ]

[ lets go of him after she shuts her door. ]

What's that? You want my daddy to know you're here in my room?

[ stiffens a little bit, but keeps on trucking. ]

[ rolls her eyes and fondly ruffles his hair. ]

You're safe here with me.

[ gives her light nudge of affection with his shoulder as he goes around her to claim his usual spot on his bed. sits cross-legged. ]

So, what'd you pick out already?

[ twirls on over to her closet and opens it up wide, pulling out a handful of things. scampers back to her bed, dropping them next to anthony. looks down at them, disgruntled and distressed. ]

I couldn't decide!

[ glances down at the selection for a moment before starting to weed things out, pushing away darker colours & longer lengths. after a few minutes, he's lining up the last three survivors side-by-side. looks up at her expectantly. ]

It's just a small party, so maybe one of these three?

[ surveys the selection before picking one up, pressing it up against her body. ]

[ puffs out of his cheeks in thought & glances at her make-up table. ]

Sure. With that purple headband.

[ glances over at said table briefly and then smiles down at him, placing the chosen outfit down so that she could put the other ones away. speaks while she fidgets with the clothing: ]

Did you bring what you're going to wear?

[ wordlessly drops the small backpack that he had been carrying onto her bed & back around to his lap. sticks his hand inside & wiggles around, finally pulling out a crumbled dress shirt. ]

Ta-da.

[ stares at it. stares at it some more. ]

[ walks over to him and plucks the dress shirt from out of his clutches. tries to shake it out. ]

You should have folded it properly...

I did. It was fine yesterday, but then my dad sat on it.

[ stops shaking it out to look at him properly. ]

Don't blame your dad! You could have at least ironed it this morning or something.

[ sets it on the bed next to her outfit, wandering off towards her closet once more. opens it up and pulls out two hangers, one with a nice black dress shirt on it and the other with dark jeans. walks back to anthony, handing it to him. ]
