[ expression doesn't change as he shifts to rest on his back, head turning in caleb's direction. ]

[ blinks, genuinely surprised by the question enough to stop, think, gather his words & nod. ]

[ can't help but continue as the curiosity is too great, hand reaching out to play and stroke some of caleb's hair. ]

Did you spend the holidays with them?

[ hesitates for a moment, feeling a bit torn. but he nods again eventually, the motion slow & measured while he murmurs back quietly. ]

[ expression drops a bit at the sudden change of mood he feels, making him move his hand away slowly in guilt. ]

[ shakes his head, nosing at the top of nathan's hair. hugs him closer. ]

[ frown deepens at that for a moment longer before he shakes his head to rid himself of the bad thoughts, wiggling so that he can move his hands upward to land on caleb's cheeks. ]

Anyway, let's not waste anymore time. [ pats those cheeks a few times. ] Up, up! Snow awaits!

[ blinks at the change in mood, but detaches himself from nathan enough to sit up this time around. stretches a bit. ]

[ stays where he's at for the moment, blinking up at caleb. ]

[ rolls to his side to sit up finally, staring up at the ceiling in thought. ]

Probably the tree first, then. Just in case we run out of time or whatever.

[ nods & stretches again before getting to his feet. ]

[ scoots to the edge of the bed next, tugging on the edge of caleb's shirt. ]

[ blinks at him at the gesture, then holds out a hand for nathan to take to help the other boy off the bed. ]

[ takes the hand as he slides off the bed, moving closer when the warmth of the bed leaves him fully. ]

Then we've gotta make an awesome name for our team.

[ steps a few paces forward, turning to face caleb as he walks backwards while still holding onto his hand. ]
