[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

[ smiles a little against the hand, nuzzling up at it. ]

Snow good? Snow is cold!

[ smile widens slightly at the question while he idly runs his other hand's fingers through caleb's hair. ]

Yeah, snow is good. I like it a lot.

[ closes his eyes against the petting, mumbling quiet pleased noises in german before responding. ]

Then snow is good. Snow fight is good too! And snow person!

I'm really good at snowball fighting. [ puffs his chest out a little. ] Damon says otherwise, but he's a liar and can never be trusted.

[ looks away and shrugs a little, cheeks growing warm. ]

He's okay... sometimes.

[ twists a bit so that he can open his good eye to stare up at nathan quizzically without dislodging his head from the bed. ]

Okay sometimes? Bad next times?

[ shifts a little uncomfortably, embarrassed. ]

Yeah, sorta.

[ shakes his head to dismiss that, resting both of his hands on either side of caleb's head so that he can ruffle his hair. ]

Alright, enough already. Less talk, more going outside and playing in the snow!

[ makes a small, pathetic noise before reaching out to wrap his arms around nathan. ]

Five minute!

[ blinks down at him, shifting a hand to rest it on caleb's back. ]

Still tired?

[ rests easily now that nathan doesn't seem to be in a rush to go anywhere at the moment. ]

Nein. Happy? Warm. Happy and warm.

[ thinks about it for a moment before he moves to lay down and wiggle underneath the covers again, scooting closer to caleb. ]

We'll go in five minutes.

[ immediately curls around him, almost on instinct. eyes closing again, he nuzzles his nose into the crown of nathan's hair. ]

Is good idea!

But then we'll get up and do things. [ rests an arm around him loosely as he thinks. ] We're still doing that party-thing, right?

[ makes a muffled sound of agreement. ]

But let's decorate the tree before they get here. I have a bad feeling about them helping out...

[ tilts his head a little, the movement awkward due to his spot on the bed. ]

But team is careful? Good work together! Keep fire away.

Not good work together. [ pauses, scratching his head. ] At least not on domesticated things, I guess...

[ sighs a little, tucking himself closer to caleb. ]

It's what I'm becoming, that's what.
